Reform Albany’s Culture of Corruption!Albany politicians have been caught with their hand in the cookie jar too many times. That’s why I’m sponsoring legislation to eliminate pensions for elected officials who commit felonies. I am also sponsoring legislation to allow for recall elections, so voters can call elections to remove corrupt lawmakers.

Repeal the NY SAFE Act!One of the biggest flaws in this year’s budget was the $27 million allotted to target law-abiding, responsible gun owners. I’m standing up for our Second Amendment, and am the main Assembly sponsor of Senator Kathy Marchione’s bill repealing the unconstitutional, onerous aspects of the NY SAFE Act.

Restore funding to OPWDD!During this year’s budget, $90 million was taken away from the developmentally disabled and their caregivers. I joined my colleagues in the Assembly Minority in voting for an amendment that would fully restore funding to our society’s most vulnerable members and would make it a priority to ensure our developmentally disabled receive the dignified care they deserve.

End the $420 million Hollywood Tax Credit and use the money to boost economic development.

Ease the bureaucratic red tape and restrictions that stifle job growth.

Instead of a $350 rebate check to certain families, issuing real tax relief for ALL New Yorkers.
