This clean solution comes from batchpur:During aeration in all SBR plants, sludge particles enter in the clear water air lift pumps. Now, as the first supplier of small wastewater treatment plants, batchpur has the solution for this problem: With the European patent application ALC® technology (Air Lift Cleaning), the pump for clear water discharge is rinsed with purified wastewater and the sludge particles entering the system are transported back to pre-treatment. The subsequent clear water removal is finally free of sludge particles that have entered the system during aeration. An enormous advantage for plants with subsequent removal.

This technology has been extensively tested in the accredited test laboratory of the PIA. The cleaning performance is outstanding. This technology is available only with small sewage treatment plants from batchpur.

The saver system:Saves money • withsimpleretro-fitinstallation • on sludge disposal with sludge stabilisation • with minimal energy useThe sludge is stabilised aerobically (i.e. with air) in the Aero small treatment plant. This is an enormous advantage:

1. Because there are no more bad smells from the treatment plant caused by decomposition processes.

2. Because no more fermentation gases are generated, no corrosion is caused in the tanks – especially in existing concrete tanks. So your tank will last for a long time to come.

3. The sludge is stabilised with atmospheric oxygen, thus reducing the organic matter. This shrinks the volume of sludge considerably and means that sludge rarely needs to be disposed of.

Aero, with excellent cleaning performance in classes C, N and D. The standard model of the Aero system already includes class D: no extra cost if you ever have to meet cleaning class D requirements.

An inspired solution for renovations/modernisationWhether you have a round or straight-sided tank and/or container, with one, two, three chambers or more, and whether it’s made of concrete or plastic – Aero can be retro-fitted to every kind of tank that meet its requirements for e.g. water depth and volume. Retro-fitting is as easy as you can imagine: the Aero system does not require existing partition walls to be watertight – it is fitted to the partition wall, the aerators are placed in the chambers and the system is switched on. As simple as that!

A tried-and-trusted system perfectedThe Aero SBR small sewage plant works with the SBR system (which has proved its worth for years) in the wastewater is treated in cycles. The new feature, however, is that there is no loading, so less energy is required and the old separated sludge storage is missed out as a step in the process. Instead, the sludge is also aerated and reduced. This considerably shrinks the volume of sludge, meaning that sludge only rarely has to be handled and disposed of, drastically. Thereby, operating costs will decline sigificanty.

FillingThe influent is piped into the Aero SBR plant.

AeratingBoth the wastewater and the sludge are aerated. Atmospheric oxy-gen is introduced to the bacteria in little bubbles of air via energy-optimised membranes. The currents created enable perfect mixing with high throughput speeds.

Settling phaseAfter biological cleaning with the bacteria has been completed, the so-called settling phase begins. In this settling phase, the cleaned effluent separates from the biological sludge.

Cleaning the air lift pump with ALC®

A zone of clear, purified wastewater begins to form in the upper levels shortly after the settling phase has begun, and this is when the ALC® process swings into action. A second air lift pump is used to propel purified wastewater through the piping system of the air lift system for clear water removal, removing the particles of sludge deposited in the pipe system during the purification process and thus cleaning this pipe system.

Clear water removalOnce the settling phase has finished, the clear wastewater is remo-ved. A wear-free air lift pump is used to remove the clear, purified effluent from the upper levels into the soakaway or a watercourse.

Super silent air distributor system with long service lifeWhat distinguishes the sophisticated but cost-saving differences of batchput plants from others?

• 90 % less energy consumption in the air distribution system: Aero plants operate in the Airstep air distribution system with stepped motors and not solenoid valves. Solenoid valves have the disadvantage that during opening they must be constantly supplied with energy. This means for you as a consumer, for example, that the solenoid valve must be powered throughout the aeration time. Usually between 10-15 watts. The calculation is quite a simple one: For the same period the Aero stepped motor system requires less than 10 %.

• Super silent technology: Solenoid valves cause a typical noise with each gear change. Stepper motors are barely audible. Gentle technology which goes easy on the material.

• Well-designed technology: The stepper motors in the Airstep system are made of high quality material and being reversible can therefore be easily replaced when necessary.

customer service can immediately check from the office and if necessary rectify the problem inexpensively in this way. If there is a fault, the causes can usually be diagnosed and the service technician has a clear picture of the action or spare parts that are needed and can work efficiently on site.

Responsible and farsighted choice of materials and design• Aero small sewage treatment plants are designed and manufactured with care and

foresight. These are fine technical details that are born from the commitment to sustainability and performance, such as quality, durable material of the individual components, production in accordance with high levels of industry standards, glued or welded joints in plastic pipes and sockets instead of using quick-fit joints etc. As a consumer you will realize these benefits as the plant ages.
