PRINTOFIX® TFHigh performance pigment preparations

Printofix® TF are high performance pigment preparations for outdoor applications. A special selection of raw materials to help customers achieve high fastness. Printofix® TF is mainly suited for synthetic fabrics specially developed for sunshades, camping tents, umbrellas and other industrial applications where other dyes cannot meet the very high requirements of light and weather fastness.

Printofix® TF pigment preparations allow to create colors that can resist light, weather, ozone or heat.

Our self-commitment to use only non-halogenated technologies for our global range of Pekoflam® products dates back to 2011, when Archroma took a clear step away from then commonly available halogen-based fire retardants (FR).

The Pekoflam® range is therefore ideally suited to help our customers face today’s ecological challenges and fulfill ever stricter safety regulations, whatever the application area is.

Thanks to its focus on innovation, Archroma has been able to further develop its non-halogenated product range and is now in the position to o� er innovative FR solutions addressing the specific needs of the industry.

Selected products are therefore assessed for compliance to labels such as GOTS2 or OEKO-TEX®3 Standard 100 and in line with today’s global requirements for industrial and consumer safety.

NUVA® NC6 Fluoro-chemistry for eco-advanced high performance

Archroma’s innovative next-generation fluorochemical alternative is PFOA-free1 C6

Nuva® N supports the switch away from long-chain fluorotelomer products which may contain PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid).

Nuva® N products provide long lasting and excellent repellency and release e� ects, are easy to handle and non-sensitive in regard to compatibility with other finishing chemicals. They allow covering the full spectrum of repellency and release needs in technical textile applications.

Nuva® N1811, Nuva® N2114 and Nuva® N2155 are bluesign®4 approved.

Smartrepel® Hydro is Archroma’s nature-friendlier protection that keeps cotton, polyester and polyamide textiles dry.

The unique technology o� ers exceptional, durable water repellency and it is not based on fluorine.

Its high water repellence performance tested according to AATCC 22.

COATING SOLUTIONS Eco-advanced tailor-made surface functions

Polymer-based coating technology can be used to apply functional additives on the surface of fabrics.

Archroma’s water-based, solvent-free polymers: Appretan®, Lurapret® and Texapret®, allow handle and surface adaptations, from so� to hard, elastic to rigid, hydrophilic to hydrophobic, heat sealable to highly durable, impermeable to breathable, with low formaldehyde content or none at all.

They can be combined with finishing specialties, such as Pekoflam® fire retardants, Nuva® N and Smartrepel® release and repellence solutions, and Sanitized® antimicrobial products.

Our coating solutions allow tailor-made solutions for your requirements, including towards more sustainability, in applications such as technical textiles, automotive, nonwoven, personal protective equipment and sportswear.

APPRETAN® E & APPRETAN® NFLow formaldehyde or formaldehyde-free1 self-crosslinking solutions for stability and resistance

Appretan® E products are polymer dispersions aimed at providing flexibility, strength, stability and resistance in textile and non-woven applications.

Being self-crosslinking they allow high level of performance, in particular against water, solvent or alcohol.

Appretan® E products allow to meet OEKO-TEX®3 Standard 100 which defines as non detectable measured values below 16 ppm on the substrate according to Japan Law 112.

Appretan® NF liq is a self-crosslinking formaldehyde-free1 polymer with good water and solvent resistance. It is suitable for coating and for the chemical bonding of any type of nonwovens, showing particularly excellent adhesion and performances on glass material.

NOTE All Appretan® polymer dispersions are NPEO-free1 (nonyl phenol ethoxylates) and APEO-free1 (alkyl phenol ethoxylates) according to Directive 2003/53/EC.

LURAPRET® D & LURAPRET® NCoating and padding polymers for enhanced fabric performance and functionalities

Lurapret® D are acrylonitrile acrylate polymers.

This group of polymers completes our water-based self-crosslinking polymer group when special performance features are needed such as acid resistance.

Lurapret® N is a water-based polyurethane (PU) range providing high-end quality and performance.

Water-based PU are used in applications ranging from flexible outdoor fabric coating to so� and breathable sportswear coating.

Appretan® N are water-based polymers that are widely used for coating and chemical bonding.

This product group contains self-crosslinking and thermoplastic polymers.

Appretan® S are 100% dry content polymers for high end technical application.

These polymers are non-ignitable, temperature-, chemical- and UV-resistant, so� and very elastic.
