› A hybrid system, combining ITS G5 and Cellular is needed– The Working Group concluded that currently neither ETSI ITS-G5 nor cellular systems can

provide the full range of necessary services for C-ITS. Consequently a hybrid communication concept is needed in order to take advantage of complementary technologies.
