INTRALINK 3.x related products can´t be “simply” migrated to Windchill 8.0 – incompatible software architecture– more comprehensive environment (PLM)
Future Windchill add-on products must be adequate to shifted conditions– application`s range must fit to a PLM szenario– Windchill profen software architecture
Challenge for software vendors and consultants– familiar with PLM requirements and project risks– long term skills in WEB technology (JAVA, Servlets, RMI, LDAP, http
…)– profen knowledge of Windchill standard and customizing
components– certified Windchill technique (PTC University)
Consequences II
State-of-the-art iBridge and iCheck will support INTRALINK 3.x environments only.
