OUR HOT BOMBARDIER
Gather down closely and you shall hear The story of one, a Hot Bombardier His name is renown from far and from wide For Rope was his specialty but not lo be lied.
C. E. meant nothing to this young squirt For on his record he would <:Jamble hi s shir t A one twenty five was his perma nent fixture For who could disprove it with never a picture?
His missions were many. his pictures were few His rope it was long as al l of us knew But how could we prove it and what could we do When his pictures were bad and very damn few?
I could continue my story for days and for days But I would only bore you with one sad phrase Pictures, no pictures, it is the same old story Rope, and more rope. but all for the Glory.
Such is the story of the Hot Bombardier And it is for him we shed one glad tear For without the rope, and with pictures too Ma ny of us would have c11use to be blue.

The target draws closer the' moment is near, So listen my buddies lo the poor Bombardier. He's g runting ond sweating os he pushes ond fights. Buttons and handles on his sight of sights.
At lost there's o clid and the cry, "Bombs Away! The Bombardier closes his eyes os he prays. Meanwhile behind him with both hands, hes groo'rg For his new braided la riat made specially for roo· og
