KFC joined with the Boys and Girls Club of Maury County and the Columbia Academy, Columbia and Spring Hill locations, to create a little sunshine from our workers and children to the soldiers overseas. Between the club and schools, we had a total of 450 greeting cards to send to our soldiers. KFC matched their contribution with 1,200 cookies.

Tonya Bolton, one of our shift leaders at the store, has a brother who is stationed overseas. He stated on Facebook to his sister, “Thanks for the cookies. They really liked them.” We are always proud to show our soldiers how much we appreciate what they do each and every day. They are always happy to receive baked goods! “I received awesome service from an employee named Dontavious Morris. It’s been a while since I’d dined at KFC, so while I knew what I wanted, I didn’t know how I could order it all and stay within budget. This young man made placing my order easy for me while not making me feel stupid. He made suggestions which gave me comfort. This kind of customer service is missing in a lot of people today. Thanks KFC for employing him and kudos to his manager as well,” writes a carry out customer of the Dawson Rd Albany, GA store.

“Stephen Walker provided excellent service. There was also a tall African American male employee who provided excellent customer service during my visit to the KFC on Murfreesboro Road Franklin, TN,” states a dine-in guest of the Big Franklin store.

A carry out customer of the Harding Place, Nashville, TN store said the female manager working on October 21st was very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service.

“I did not have to wait long and the drive thru person was very pleasant,” states a customer of the Dickson, TN location.

“Great customer service was provided by the manager on duty at the Union City, TN KFC, and the store was clean,” states a carry out visitor.

“I visit my KFC located in Lavergne, TN at least twice a week and on my last visit I want you to know that Roger was working and in 42 years of fast food I have never met a young man who enjoyed his job any better than Roger. He was up to date on the KFC products, did suggestive selling, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. He would be a real asset to any company. Thanks!” writes a carry out fan of KFC.

“The female employee working the front counter on the day shift at the Concord #3 Concord, North Carolina restaurant is always cordial and professional. The wonderful service is why I frequently visit this restaurant,” states a dine-in guest.

“An employee named Jojo provided excellent service and was very helpful,” stated a dine- in guest of the Patton Ave. Asheville, NC restaurant. She also said the facility was very clean.

“I had gone through to the Kannapolis, NC KFC and the food was great and the service was

awesome! I believe the cashier’s name was Julethia, and she was as sweet as she could be. I also noticed that the manager on duty was very helpful to her team. This team at 7:30 p.m. was on their job and I would go back anytime,” writes a drive-thru visitor.

The Mauldin, SC KFC received a compliment from a dine- in guest who said the employees were friendly and courteous and the food on the buffet was fresh.

A carry out customer of the Cookeville, TN KFC writes, “One of the cashiers named Christina was a great greeter who made me laugh throughout my conversation with her. Christina, keep that personality that makes others smile.”

“WOW! That’s how we take care of our customers. Great Job Christina!” commented Debbie Hunter.

“Great job Christina! Thank you for taking care of our customers!” commented Terry Jennings.

The Manchester, TN facility had a drive-thru patron to write, “Have you ever had cashier to ask one additional time is there anything else they can get you, or smile and say thank you and make it feel genuine? Well, I did this evening and I want to say thank you to Cody for making my experience a great one.”

“Great Job Manchester! Always reliable. That’s how we WOW our guest!!” writes Debbie Hunter, Area Manager.

The Hickory Hollow Lane Antioch, TN store received a compliment from a dine-in visitor who said a male employee provided her with helpful customer service by providing the 1-800-Call-KFC number.

A carry out guest of the Pigeon Forge, TN stated the cashier was very nice, courteous, and friendly.

“I spoke with the drive-thru customer of North Roan, Johnson City KFC who reported that the chicken pot pie he received was delicious and taste so much better than other locations. He said he had already spoken with Eddie and was traveling back to Spartanburg S.C. This gentleman is retired and hauls items for extra income. He said he really likes eating at the North Roan KFC. He is retired, lives in Texas and is a nice man,” writes Mike Wimer.

December 31, 2012. Ø All employees who currently participate in any of the JRN, Inc. benefit

plans should re-enroll and update their information. Ø Benefits Enrollment is online only (www.midstatebenefits.com) – there are

no paper enrollment forms. Any employee who does not have internet access should work with their RGM to enroll at their restaurant.

Ø Each restaurant will receive a supply of the JRN 2012 Employee Benefits

booklets to distribute to eligible employees.

Ø You will receive new CIGNA insurance cards in early January. You can continue to use your current cards until the new cards come in since none of the coverage or group numbers have changed.
