We are proud to say that our LS/L2 (Italian as a foreign

language/second language) Italian professional teachers are certified,

specialized and qualified cultural operators, with 2nd level DILS-PG /

2nd level DITALS or CEDILS and class A23 certification, as per required

by the Italian national law. They have a deep teaching experience in

public and private schools and universities in Italy and abroad, but

also in local institutions and international organizations working

towards the promotion of Italian language and culture in the world.

Day 1 | Special lesson – “Excursion and volcano Technical jargon” (3 hours)

Day 2 | Mount Etna Guided tour - Full dayDiscover the most active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna. You will reach Rifugio Sapienza. There thetour will continue taking the cable car up to 2500 meters and a special 4×4 vehicle to reach analtitude of 2950 meters. So, together with a volcanologist guiding you through the experience, youwill enjoy the magnificence of our volcano standing in front of the impressive Central and SouthEastern Craters, surrounded by ancient and recent lava flows.

Day 3 | Special lesson – “History of Sicily” (3 hours)

Day 4 | Syracuse Guided tour - Full daySyracuse was founded by colonists from Cornith in 735 B.C. and was once themost important competitor to Athens. On arrival stroll through the streetsof Ortygia Island, the heart of the city center. In the afternoon you will be guidedto visit the Archaeological Park with the Greek Theatre, the RomanAmphitheatre and the Paradise Quarry.

Day 5 | Special lesson – “Boost your writing skills! Essay writing on the 2excursions” (4 hours)

Day 6 | Excursion to Taormina - Full dayTaormina is one of the most beautiful and magic places in the world. For manytourists, from all over the world, Taormina is a must-see destination. Thecharming town is located on a rocky plateau of Mount Tauro overlooking theIonian Sea, at a height of about 250 meters. Taormina boasts a rich artistic,historical and cultural heritage that with the healthy climate and beautiful naturalscenery, has attracted visitors since the middle of the eighteenth century.

Day 1 | Special lesson – ”Wine’s history and technical jargon” (3 hours)

Day 2 | Sicilian wine tasting - Full day

On the eastern side of the Etna volcano, in the woods of the National Park and facing the sea of Taormina,the vineyards are a pleasure for your senses and for your heart. A Pleasure for your sight, because theyrepresent one of the best models of Etna vineyards of high altitude: in an exclusive natural environment,at 800 meters above sea level, the vineyards lay on sunny and airy terracing that have a breathtakingpanorama.

Day 4 | Cooking Class– Full day

Sicily is renowned for its delicacies, and Sicilian cuisine has pleased palatessince ancient times. The gentle climate, the fertile soil and the numerousconquerors that have strongly influenced Sicilian culture (Spanish, Greek andArab) have made Sicilian dishes unique and special and its gastronomy famousall over the world.

Day 5 | Special lesson – “Boost your writing skills! Essay writing onthe 2 experiences (4 hours)

Day 6 | Guided Kayaking in Catania + Lunch by the sea - Full day

The excursion, lasting about four hours, starts from the fisherman village ofCapo Mulini and will take you to the Faraglioni di Acitrezza. The coast ischaracterized by black cliffs of volcanic origin, produced by the primordialeruptions of Etna. Paddling you will have some unique and charming views ofthe old fishing villages along the coast. We sail to the fortress of Acicastellowhere we disembark for a visit to the square of the small town. The returnalong the coast will give us the possibility of another stop in the town ofAcitrezza before returning to the starting point.

Day 2 | The Colosseum & Domus Aurea and Lunch in Roman Taverna - Full day

Colosseum: Even though the Roman Colosseum is now in ruins, it continues to impress us because of its great size and beauty and that is why since 2007 it is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The Roman Colosseum is now the symbol of Rome in the world, and has becomethrough the years an historical and archaeological treasure able to remind us of the greatness of the Roman Empire.Domus Aurea: After the devastating fire of 64 AD, which destroyed much of the centre of Rome, the emperor Nero began building a new residence, which for pomp and splendour went down to historyby the name of the Domus Aurea.

Day 3 | Special lesson – “The Roman Culture” (3 hours)

Day 5 | Tour of Castel Gandolfo and the lake - Full day

A 40-minute train ride from Rome’s Termini Station will take you to the sleepytown of Castel Gandolfo in the area of the Castelli Romani. With lush greencountryside and the sparkling waters of the volcanic Lake Albano, it’s no surprisethis was the place chosen by emperors, aristocrats and popes as a summertimeresidence. Guided visit to: The town center, the Pontifical Palace and Lake Albano.

Day 5 | Special lesson – “Boost your writing skills! Essay writing on the 2excursions” (4 hours)

Day 6 | Excursion to Ostia Antica and to Ostia Beach - Full day

During ancient Rome Ostia Antica was one of the most thriving cities in the region thanks to its status as Rome’s harbour city. After the collapse of the Empire, the city fell into decadence, was eventually abandoned and remaineduntouched and magnificently preserved for centuries.Ostia has long been a popular summer destination when Romans were in needof a day at the beach. With a seafront 10 km long, and many different bathingfacilities, Ostia is a common solution to the hot summer weather.

Day 1 | Special lesson – Wine’s history and technical jargon (3 hours)

Day 2 | Discover Tuscany - Full day

The most picturesque region of the Italian countryside, Tuscany, where you will see that postcardsstill cannot show you the true beauty of the region. With the medieval towns of Montepulciano andPienza, you get to experience the true simplicity of Tuscan life.Lunch is served using all locally sourced products at a vineyard producing one of the most importantwines in Italy, Brunello di Montalcino. Finish the day with a leisurely visit to the town of Pienza,famous for its Pecorino cheese and spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside.

Day 3 | Special lesson - Food technical jargon (3 hours)

Rome Delicious Food and Wines

Day 4 | Pasta Cooking and Wine tasting class in Frascati – Full day

Once we arrive in Frascati and we wear our apron, the Chef will teach us how toprepare nr.2 of the traditional local pasta varieties, including “Ravioli” stuffed withricotta cheese and spinach, and “Fettuccine“, as well as some of the secrets of thelocal culinary tradition. After the cooking there is the pasta tasting!

Day 5 | Special lesson - Boost your writing skills! Essay writing on the 2experiences (4 hours)

Day 6 | Tour of Circo Massimo, Aventino and the best Roman Past+ Sunset at Castel Sant’Angelo - Full day

The excursion will help you discover the beautiful area of Circo Massimo, theOrange Garden and the secret door of St Peter’s in Aventino. After a nice walk youwill taste the best roman dishes in one of the most renowned Roman Tavernawhere you won’t find any tourist. In the afternoon you will enjoy a beautifulsunset over St. Peter’s from Castel Sant’Angelo.
