Enter your search term in the find box and click keyword,
title, author, subject, or series. You can also choose to limit
your material to a type, such as e-books.

If you click resource lists on the left, you can access reading
and research lists from your teachers. Click view to see the
titles.

Here you will see the books checked out most often, reading
lists, and new books.

You can do a search, and drag and drop books into your list. If
you login, you can save your list.

Search for the book Zamba by entering the search term and
clicking title.

This screen gives you information on the book, including author
and copyright date. Note that the library has one copy, but there
are no copies available. That means our copy is checked out. If you
click the title or details by the green arrow, you get still more
information.

Here you see a summary of the book, and a button if you want to
put it on hold. Under Explore!, if there is a find it at the end of
a line, you can click it for more books on that subject.

If you log in, you will have a My Info tab showing what you
have checked out and when it is due. The resource lists link on the
left is for book lists you have created. You can also view your
checkout history and fines and place holds for books you want.

Lets do a subject search on vampires by typing vampires and
clicking the subject button.

Be sure the results are sorted by call number to distinguish
fiction from nonfiction. The titles tab shows all the books the
library has on this subject. Click show all to have all results on
one page.

After doing a search, click on the One Search tab to see
Internet and database information. If the search lasts too long,
click get results to see what has already been found.

You can see how many hits were found on each website. Click
show to see the actual articles.

can even choose a different format instead of MLA if you need
it.

information.

One Search also uses educational search engines instead of
general search engines like Google. These articles will not have
citation information, but they have been evaluated and are more
reliable than those found by a Google or Yahoo search.
