• Objective:– One or two contracts for the purchase of C3F8
and C6F14 to substitute the IT-3397
• Kind of contract: – 3 years + 1 year (optional) + 1 year (optional)

• Delivery schedule– Delivery will be done at the merchandise reception (France or
Switzerland).– The supply should be delivered 20 days after the order
reception confirmation.– CERN Calendar of Official Holidays shall be the reference.
• Safety– CERN rules as described by Safety Commission.– Transport European Directive.– Pressure European Directive for containers.

• Rent of the containers– The rental period begins three months after delivery.– Finishes with a CERN fax/e-mail notification.– Rental will be invoiced annually in December.
• Acceptance of the supply– Shall include a Certificate of Analyses that complies with the
technical specification.– CERN can check it performing chemical analyses to the fluid from
any of the containers.• Penalties (defined in the commercial document)
– Penalty for late delivery.– Penalty for non-compliance with the quality specification + refusal
of the supply.
