The banks of Bosphorus

Dolmabahce Saray : ”Dolmabahçe" was originally a bay on the Bosphorus which was filled gradually from the seventeenth century to become the most appreciated garden by the Ottoman sultans. Several summer residences were built here throughout time and the Dolmabahce Palace itself was built between 1853 and 1856. It is the largest palace of the Bosphorus, we can see 285 bedrooms, 46 living rooms, 6 Turkish baths and 68 toilets with the usable area of 45,000 m2.

Cruise along the Bosphorus: navigating along the meandering strait,  32 km long and varying from 660 m to 3300 m of width, separating Europe from Asia and contemplate the palaces situated on its banks.

Ortakoy Mosque : The Ortaköy Mosque literally means” village in the middle ", referring to the small piece of land that is in the waters of the Bosphorus. It is located on the European side of the strait that separates Europe from Asia.
