Dear students, parents of Grades 9 - 12 and prospective exhibitors.

The IST Alumni, IST parents, business community and IST Secondary Counselling Department welcome you to attend the IST Careers Expo.

The Expo will be held in the IST Secondary Library as well as Meeting Room B4 from 10 am – 12 noon on Saturday 8th February 2014.

The Careers Expo provides an opportunity for students to gain real insight into the world of work through connecting with IST Alumni and parents in a

variety of occupations and fields of employment. Students will be able to browse a range of careers; target specific professions of interest; meet and talk

with people working in these professions; and gather first-hand information about the educational and employment pathways leading to these careers.

Furthermore

On behalf of the wider IST community, we welcome you, the business owner to participate in the IST Careers Expo on the 8th of February.

We need individuals who can represent a specific career. Your commitment would require you to set up a display on a table, and be prepared to talk to

students and parents about what it is like to work in this field; what education pathway you took to get to this position.

If you or your organization would be in a position to provide Grade 10 and 11 IST students with educational ‘field visits’ during their school holidays, please
