Kaushik R It is been an year that the mo- di-led UPA government which has finished its governance. The recent union budget did the same as that of UPA term with quite differences. Exclud- ing “Jan Dhan Yojana’’, “acche Din”, “ Atal Pension Yojana” and many more the slogan is more or less same which was raised previously. Only point however can be differentiated that the present government is aggressive in raising slogans and giving advertisement which has costed upto 850 crores. The finance minister ut- ters saying that “we are lay- ing the map of accelerat- ing growth, enhancing growth process enhancing growth process to common man, youth and child; those qual- ity must be improved.” Exclud- ing the term women empower- ment this is more or less the same of the previous version. Problems foreseen It is an very basic to know prob- lems of common man. of all essential commodities, grow- ing trend in unemployment with which vast number of workforce searching for jobs that too for for a temporary one where the concept of permanent basis is dead, the rise in crimes against women is such that every 12 minutes a crime happens outof it 20 minutes a rape. Moles- tation, Sexual harassment and many more. More alarmingly people with a vast population of 77% who live less than 20rs and below that too many get- ting a square meal in a day Governmental perspective Just After the presentation of budget there are steep rise in crude oil prices. Petrol as gone up to 7.5 high in a span of 5 months. Superseding the fact of rise in rate in the in- ternational market the gov- ernmental tax is be imposed on public. In this connection there is a rise in all essen- tial commodities. BJP has remained completely si- lent in the case of crimes on women. Other than insur- ance scheme and atal pension scheme there is no step taken for improving the life of com- mon man. For unemployment there is a sanction of 1500 crore but there is no talk about it anywhere neither about the policy or programme. 2% re- duction in Educational funds. Surpassing all this Swacch Bharat campaign is for whom? People are in such a condi- tion that they need basic food. It may become sudden to ex- pect the government to do away with issues but contrast ingly PM has engaged in series of foreign tours in the hope of bringing technology to India and uniting the solidarity by proving so called great leader. That too major tours are accompanied by darling of Bjp’s Capital fund Adani groups who is benefitted of 26000 crores in just an year. Out of all these chang- es in the administrations with candidates recommended by sangh parivar., Distortions of history by Union HRD ministry with a special appointment of RSS Candidate Dinanath Ba- tra as the head of text book Committee. Out of all, there is rise in the Communal riots. But point however is that ‘Is the acche din coming for same Indian Monopoly hous- es are for a common man? Only point however can be differentiated that the present government is aggressive in raising slogans and giving advertisement which has costed upto 850 crores. The finance minister ut-ters saying that “we are lay-ing the map of accelerat-ing growth, enhancing growth process enhancing growth process to common man, youth and child; those qual-ity must be improved.” Exclud-ing the term women empower-ment this is more or less the same of the previous version.

Problems foreseenIt is an very basic to know prob-lems of common man. of all essential commodities, grow-ing trend in unemployment with which vast number of workforce searching for jobs that too for

for a temporary one where the concept of permanent basis is dead, the rise in crimes against women is such that every 12 minutes a crime happens outof it 20 minutes a rape. Moles-tation, Sexual harassment and many more. More alarmingly people with a vast population of 77% who live less than 20rs and below that too many get-ting a square meal in a day

Governmental perspectiveJust After the presentation of budget there are steep rise in crude oil prices. Petrol as gone up to 7.5 high in a span of 5 months. Superseding the fact of rise in rate in the in-ternational market the gov-ernmental tax is be imposed on public. In this connection

there is a rise in all essen-tial commodities. BJP has remained completely si-lent in the case of crimes on women. Other than insur-ance scheme and atal pension scheme there is no step taken for improving the life of com-mon man. For unemployment there is a sanction of 1500 crore but there is no talk about it anywhere neither about the policy or programme. 2% re-duction in Educational funds. Surpassing all this Swacch Bharat campaign is for whom? People are in such a condi-tion that they need basic food. It may become sudden to ex-pect the government to do away with issues but contrast ingly PM has engaged in series of foreign tours in the hope of

bringing technology to India and uniting the solidarity by proving so called great leader. That too major tours are accompanied by darling of Bjp’s Capital fund Adani groups who is benefitted of 26000 crores in just an year. Out of all these chang-es in the administrations with candidates recommended by sangh parivar., Distortions of history by Union HRD ministry with a special appointment of RSS Candidate Dinanath Ba-tra as the head of text book Committee. Out of all, there is rise in the Communal riots. But point however is that ‘Is the acche din coming for same Indian Monopoly hous-es are for a common man?

Robbing Childhood through Child Labour… What comes to our mind first when we think of Innocence? Is it the car that we drive or . food that we eat, the money that we make or the words that we say…none of these, actu-ally. The best thing that de-scribes innocence is a child’s faceChildren need love and affec-tion and the way the are brought up shapes their future and build up their identity. Child-hood is the most memorable period of one’s life and is glori-ous, but there are many unfortu-nate children around the world who suffer more than enjoy. In every society, there ex-ists some sort of heirarchy in

every aspect of life. Poverty has led people to opt for various jobs of different forms and the fate of the parents decide the fateof the children. Children are sent away from their homes to work and earn money, while some are kidnapped and forced to work. Child labour has been increas-ing and everyday there are hun-dreds of children who become victim of this heinous crime.Children between the age groups of 5-15 are targeted mostly and are forced to work in hazardous work conditions, while some are sold off to different places or are traded for. There are children working in factories, in hotels,

as maids, as thugs and also as sex workers. They are living a life that is forced on them not a life they want to. Children are the future ofthe society and they need educa-tion to survive this harsh world. There are various NGO’s and other groups who rescue child victims and provide them edu-cation but still the number of victims are increasing every year. Child labour is an offence. Children should be treated well and should be provided with education and shouldn’t be beaten up and made to work.

Every child is a gem of the future.

RIGHT TO FREEDOM : SELF IMMOLATION IN TIBET

Until 1949, Tibet was an inde-pendent Buddhist nation in the Himalayas which had little con-tact with the rest of the world. It existed as a rich cultural storehouse of the Buddhism. Reli-gion was a unifying theme among the Tibetans as was their own lan-guage, literature, art, and world view developed by living at high altitudes, under harsh conditions, in a balance with their environment. The Dalai Lama, an individ-ual said to be an incarnation of the Buddha of Compassion, had been both the political and spiri-tual leader of the country. The current Dalai Lama (the 14th) was only 24 years old when this all came to an end in 1959. The Communist Chinese in-vasion in 1950 led to years of disturbance that reached in the complete overthrow of the Ti-betan Government and the self-imposed exile of the Dalai Lama and 100,000 Tibetans in 1959. Since that time over a million of Tibetans have been killed. Tibetans have become a minor-ity in their own country. Chinese is the official language and up to 6,000 monasteries and shrines

have appeared for the first time and have been destroyed. Faminesin recorded history, natural resources, and wildlife reaches to extinct. Peaceful demonstra

tions/protests/speech/writings and thousands of arrests by nuns, monks, and Tibetan people have resulted in deaths with little hope of justice. Because of all

Chinese oppression and not hav-ing freedom in own country These developments Which lead, people of Tibet to take this most unprecedented step (self immolation) to call for the freedom of Tibet and for the return of Dalai Lama. As of 20th may 2015 there have been about 139 reported self im-molations in Tibet since 27 Febru-ary 2009. The reason behind this self immolation is not having free-dom in Tibet and though Tibetan people are opted for autonomy through non violent struggle, how-ever Chinese government is not supporting this proposal. And moreover China is uninterested in well being of Tibetan people. That’s why they are de-claring the reality of Tibet by burning their own bodies to call for freedom of Tibet. This horrfic incidents which rditurbs the civilization is been the voice of protest, voice for emancipation. Right to Freedom is still a voice which is been there through-outout the world, various questions arise without any answers. Howev-er the point is When will be tibet free from this struggle ?

First ‘My Name is Khan’ Next ‘Amma Returns’,What next?

ust when India realized that ‘Ache Din Anewali Hai’, Indian judiciary seems to have crashed all our hopes. Thanks to the judgements of Salman Khan’s Hit and Run case and Jayalalitha’s disproportion-ate assets case by the respective High Courts, the message that seems to go out is that if you have money and power, it’s not hard to buy the your freedom Salman Khan was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment, which seemed to upset the “Bhai” fans as they call themselves, who used social media to express their anguish. But with deep pockets, the actor escaped jail for 13 years. Yes , you read right, 13 long years. But the point today is something different. Hardly minutes after the session court judgement, and the actor’s camp wasted no time in hiring popular Supreme Court law

Education At Crisis

Today country’s education is in such a condition that it is been ut-terely commercialised or sold like products in the market. the whole educational system has become an industry of profit earning. Even the most responsible institution to maintain this, government has left the education for private lobbiesSince the 1990’s and after, ed-ucational sector is been the money making institution. In this critical condi-tion government has imple-mented RTE,which hopefully reaches the every child, the right to get education. But the point to be observed is that how far this policy can the serve the pur-pose of nation and make people benifitted to get the education. In a country where government schools and colleges which are under condition of no basic-infrastructure,management staff or atleast teachers. All the things are managed by only one teacher who plays a multi-tasking role of a teacher,cleaner,cook(mid-day meals),head of in-stitution and what not. In this whole education-al scenario the policies of the government too which are for private lobbies. All the educa-tional policies which are since from the regime of the con-gress and all the other govern-ments which came to power has commodified the education. The present BJP-led Cen-tral government too is no where different from the other.Since an year the MHRD ministry is un-der series of controversies. A new Committe which has been setup to review the educational policy which has been headed and filled with the candidates of the RSS has raised the eyebrows in different ways. Earlier BJP had witnessed several cricisms on saffronising the curriculum by introducing the facts of mythological stories as his-tory and distorting the real facts. Perpendicularly recent de-velopments which happened in 102nd Science Congress where a seminar conducted by Ananda B odas who has claimed the ex-isitence of ‘Pushpaka Vimana’ in the vedic age, that is to say in age where there was no iron nut. And a most blunder ,which was committed by our honourable Prime Minister that claiming lord Ganesha was the first to get Plas-tic surgery by transfer of head. All these alaraming devel-opments have really raised many qusestions. But Educational Sys-tem as a whole is under deep peril and threat. It is now left to the common man and the consious people of the society to find a way which can put an end to this by not by changing the government but by changing the whole System.

Instances like the court coming down heavily on the government, striking down of the draconian 66A, there are both the situa-tions in front of us.gave hope to the Aam Aadmi, but it looks like we have to wait for a just ruling for a while longer. Until then, let’s wait for the next release.

Save trees. Save tomorrow.

It is a must if we want to save our planet. Trees increase our quality of life by bringing natural elements and wild life habitat and urban setting. Trees improve the quality of air we breathe by absorbing dust and other air pollutant such as ozone, carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide from the atmosphere. They absorb toxic chemi-cal from the soil and also fight soil erosion by keeping the soil intact with their roots.

The only way to save mother earth is, by opening our eyes to the destruction we are caus-ing through deforestation. It is lef upon us to overlook the ef-fects happening and to foresee the situation and plan accord-ingly for the future generation. It is we who can atleast combat the evil effects of the situations happening Let’s plant more trees and make the earth a healthy planet.

Human beings are becom-ing so self-centered that they stop realizing the value of trees. Nowa-days people only thinks about themselves and look for their one necessity, without thinking about the planet where they are living. They only think about making money and stop giving priority to the planet which actually is affect-ing because of deforestation and issues. If human beings constantly engage in cutting down the trees then we will have a major prob-lem in the future. People should realize their mistake and start tree planting instead of deforestation. Ultimately, we only have to face a bleak future, as we are the creators of this awful situation. We all know that because of global warming species in this planet are struggling to survive. The change in climate has made so many fauna and flora extinct. We need to stop this. That’s why, we should plant more trees as much as we can.

Who is the Real Guru ? Spirituality V/S Practicality

India is known for as a land of spirituality and its mystic charm draws people from all over the world. India has its best and the worst - the fake babas and the sadhgurus. Most of the time, people are infelicitous in seeking the right spiritual guru. People have a common per-ception of a guru with as khadi clad, with a lengthy beard, do-ing a lot of charity etc. Devo-tees lavish their power, praise and wealth on their professed Baba. This is a dangerous trend.

But a real guru, as mentioned in the Vedas, has the following traits. A true guru is in a state of detach-ment from the pleasures of the physical world. He may choose to lead a life of luxury, but he is not attached to it. He has complete control over his senses. When you are with him, people sense the same sense of detachment with-in themselves. The purpose of a guru is not to cure illnesses, but to show what lies within; to lose con-trol and experience the fullness of life. In short, a baba will tie you in knots, but a guru will release you from it. And that is the guru who is hard to come by, these days.

Ancient Ayurvedic texts, religious documents and horoscopes were commonly etched into palm leaves. San-skrit letters were inscribed into the leaf ’s flesh with an iron stylus. To create writing material, partially-matured palm leaves were dried, cut to size and rubbed with oil. The leaves underwent an extensive boiling and oiling process, in order to reduce acid content and close the leave’s pores. Palm leaves of every species have been used as the roofing and partition material of huts. Golden Age at battle

The word aggressiveness may be the word which is forgotten by the Indian team from past four or five years. It doesn’t mean literally but there was a tuf challenge with cool tactics, decisions by one of the greatest captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In-dia in 2010 with a cool cap-taincy and with the great guidance by the coach gary came to first in the test rank-ing. Throughout the struggle and hard work by the great giants of Indian cricket it embraced the the most cher-ished and wanted recogni-tion of cricket. There after it was a golden gate for india to flourish the world cup 2011. Duncan Fletcher, a suggest-ed coach by gary came as a coach with the much needed

situation in the Indian cricket. But Team India wit-nessed both Victories and the Failures till the pres-ent time. It is a such a pe-riod which saw a steady decline in the test cricket’s performance. In 2010 india was at top but years passed on, there was a steep de-cline in the test ranking.

It is now in the 4th rank. The reasons may be many but there was huge changes inside the team. The retirement of Great legends Firstly Dravid then VVS and more importantly the great-est giant Sachin has been a severe loss to the team. Out of all these there was shocking a silent retirement by captain cool. there was very struggling period dur-ing the England, South Af-rica then Newseland Tours.
