Canteen Volunteers Welcome

Volunteers are always welcome and helpers receive a complimentary cuppa, lunch and your kids love to see you at school!

A WWCC (Working With Children Check) is required (free for volunteers). To apply visit: https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check

Each student is required to wear a white shirt on the day. During the event, volunteers will throw vibrant colour powder in the air and it will cover you from head to toe. Sounds exciting!!

The colour powder we will use in our event is non-toxic, biodegradable, environmentally friendly and skin safe. It’s made of high quality corn starch with permitted colours. Students with lung issues such as asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate. The highest fundraising class this week is still 3/4K. They are currently in the lead to win a Pizza Party Lunch next term.

Souvenir T-shirt orders are still being accepted. Please place your order at the school office by Tuesday 2 April. The shirts are $20 each. They have been designed and printed by Tracy Designs and Print and look fantastic! The colour from the day won't stay on the shirts, so it's great to have a keepsake. We would sincerely like to thank the following businesses who have generously sponsored the colour event. Their logos will also feature on the back of the souvenir shirt. Deeps Engineering Fair Play OOSH North Point Surveys There are a number of ways you can stay current and up to date with P&C news, such a through the school newsletter, via the SkoolBag app or by following the Anna Bay Public School and P&C Facebook pages. Alternatively, come along to our monthly meeting. We'd love to see you there. - Kate Skinner Secretary

Thank you to everyone who assisted at the Election Day cake stall. We sold out by 11.30am. Also thanks to everyone who popped in and purchased themselves a sneaky treat. It was a successful morning. We have a Federal Election coming up in May and we would love to do a BBQ and cake stall - hopefully we can get enough helpers. We are just over two weeks away from the colour run, so keep working hard on your fundraising. The best part about the fundraiser is not only will it be an awesome, fun explosion of colour, but everyone gets a prize simply by raising $10 or more. How easy is that!

The fun run is the most colourful and fun event on this year’s school calendar. It’s all about participation and raising money for our school which ends in a blast of colour.
