    CALLING ALL BOY SCOUTS

    Boy Scouts' first meeting on Sept. 6Boy Scout Troop 351 will hold its firstmeeting of the school year on September6, from 6:308:00 pm in Room 3070 ofISM. A hike in the Sierra Madre will be

    held on September 18. Plans are being made for sixcamp outs during the school year plus sailing, rifleshooting, archery and cycling days trips.

    Boys ages 11 to 17 (or 10 if they completed 5 th grade)are invited to join the Scouts. For more information,come to Room 3070 at 6:30 pm on September 6, or con-

    Sailfish Swim Club is starting on Monday, Sep-tember 13. If you want to join, come along to tryouts.At tryouts we will ask you to swim Freestyle and Back-stroke, then Breaststroke. You do not need to be achampion swimmer to join; we cater for all abili-ties. We want to see how well you swim not how fastyou swim. Once we have seen you swim, you will beput in a squad that suits your ability.

    Elementary School can come up to three times aweek. Its ok if you come once or twice, we en-courage to be good at lots of different sports

    Middle School can come either three times a weekfor those still learning, or five times a week forthose who have been swimming a long time and areready to train for performance.

    High School can come either three times a week forthose new to the sport or five times a week forthose who are keen and ready to train hard

    The MS Cross Country team ran at Faith Academy on Sat-

    urday, August 21, 2010. The team ran brilliantly on a

    hilly course.

    Join us as we Renovate to Educate!As part of our 90th Celebrations we will be giving back to our local community.On Saturday, September 25, we will be having a community build and YOU are invited!

    There is no fee, we just need volunteers---- students and parents encouraged.

    Meeting Place: ISM Campus at 7:30 am, ES Drop-OffBus will leave promptly at 7:45 am Returning before 2:00PM

    We will be repairing / building chairs and desks and adding to the library artmural - so dress appropriately!

    Registration is required and students must submit a permission slip. Forms may be picked up at the HS or MSOffices and should be returned immediately to reserve a space.
