In 2014, they will be tested on where they stand on transparency. Having agreed to voluntarily adopt the principles relating to regulatory governance and transparency, and improved operational efficiency outlined in the new Indian Financial Code proposed by the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission, they will have to deliver on the promise.
