Development, on the sidelines of its participation in

the meetings of the Governing Council of the United

Nations Human Settlements Program (Habitat) in

Kenya

The Minister mentioned in her speech that though The special efforts of the

Government of Iraq to handling the multiple crises by mobilizing the resources

available to the reconstruction process, allocating resources to build cities destroyed by

terrorism and rehabilitating the infrastructure before the return of the displaced to their

liberated cities and addressing the urban distortions through the programs of settlement

and rehabilitation of informal housing areas In cooperation with the United Nations

Human Settlements Program in Iraq, as well as directing housing loans within the

initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq as a priority for the reconstruction of housing

units in liberated areas .. There is still an urgent need To mobilize international support

for Iraq in particular in the post-conflict phase to an integrated framework that supports

peace. The Minister added that Iraq is submitting a draft resolution which is expected

to be ratified during the meetings of the 26 the session of the Governing Council, as it

strengthens the role of the program in responding to and avoiding urban crises. The

Minister stressed that the government of the Republic of Iraq emphasizes the

importance of urban crises during the period of armed conflicts and beyond, as well as

crises resulting from disasters in order to provide a better life for citizens by drawing

on the successful regional and international programs, plans and successful experiences

to be reviewed through these meetings. At the end of her speech, the Minister thanked

the State of Kenya for hosting these fruitful meetings and activities and for all those

who have worked diligently to follow up and mature the ideas and concepts put

forward.

our keenness to support unity and understanding between the

components of the Iraqi people in confronting terrorism and

and to move forward towards the reconstruction of the liberated areas

and the return of stability to it.

Istbork Al-Shawk announces the approval of the Board of Directors of the

Habitat on the project of Iraq to strengthen the role of UN-Habitat in response

to urban crises.

The Deputy of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public

Municipalities Eng. Istbork Ibrahim Al-Shawk, approved the

approval of the Governing Council of Human Settlements (Habitat)

on the draft resolution presented by Iraq on strengthening the role of

UN-Habitat in responding to urban crises. "Iraq has received the

approval of the board of directors of Habitat for its draft resolution to

strengthen UN-HABITAT in responding to urban crises to support

the reconstruction and rehabilitation of liberated areas of armed

conflicts, other man-made disasters and natural disasters.

The decision included the establishment of a fund to be financed through voluntary contributions to

be used in accordance with the Financial Regulations and Rules of the United Nations to facilitate

the rapid deployment of UN-Habitat in response to urban crises and emergencies within existing

human resources," he added. To update the Habitat policy on human settlements in crisis situations.

"The decision also ensures greater support for the implementation of the new urban plan with the

contribution of all UN-Habitat subprograms in countries affected by conflict and natural disasters,"

he said. "Member States should be better supported in their efforts to reduce disaster risk. "The plan

includes continuing to support innovative partnerships and working closely with humanitarian and

development organizations, local governments and the private sector to make these companies

activities to prevent humanitarian crises.

Activities of the Directorates and Departments of

the Ministry

According to the directives of the Minister of Construction and

Housing and Public Municipalities: The Ministry of Construction

and Housing and Public Municipalities continues efforts to restore

services to the liberated areas in Nineveh province

the General Directorate of Sewerage continues to follow up the projects and

projects carried out in the liberated areas in Nineveh governorate, as well as

System Center (Majeed Hameed Jasim) and the head of the Information

Technology Mr. (Omar Mohammad Saleh) plus a number of the Ministry of

Construction and Housing and Public Municipalities employees.

The Strategic Frame for Smart Cities in the Arabian Countries for

Permanent Growth

Based on the frame and showcasing of smart cities, we recommend a general

frame for the developing countries and it can be design in order to put a smart

implementation for smart city.

• This frame will be divided into three main parts:

1) Smart city structure.

2) Smart city elements.

3) Smart city strategy.

• The implementation order for these levels may vary based on the type

of the city or cities required to develop.

Information System Center / Systems and Programing held a workshop

titled (Archiving Systems) for two days, for the period (15-16/5/2017)

in the Ministry H.Q / second floor (library), attended the workshop

number of the ministry employees. Archiving System, is electronic

system the users (employees) can work on it, and it’s an alternate way,

instead of using papers, through it you can follow up the mail with an

easier way whether it’s in the Ministry or the other formations in the

current time, or with the other Ministries later on.

SpaceX Company Plans to Lunch Internet Service for Everyone

SpaceX company announced during the recently held hearing session for the American Senate Council

have planned to build a global internet network and lunch more than 4,000 satellite in orbit. This

announcement came after offering a request to the American Federal Communication Committee in

last November and they are persistence on moving forward to implement these plans. If you are

reading this article it means that you are capable of using the internet, their numbers are estimated to

be more than 3,77 billion person around the world. Meanwhile, around three billion person, which it

means almost half of the glob they don’t have it. The continues efforts from many of the big

companies and one of them is SpaceX to make the internet accessible to the far end of the planet.

global high speed internet, this news was confirmed

vast infrastructure in the United States of America. The

session ( spaceX plans to provide fast, vast, high speed

and cheap internet service for the users in the US and

around the world and also including the areas that never

have been provided with internet before. SpaceX plans to

improve the internet speed and the public communications

in the US and the whole world through lunching 4,425

satellite in orbit between the year 2019 and 2024. These

satellites will be send to space, steps by steps using

(Falcon 9) rockets affiliated to the same company.

role that have been taken by SpaceX company to provide internet to the remote areas, transcending the

complications and obstacles that preventing them. Cooper said (the highly expensive cost prevents

providing the remote villages and rural areas, this mattar will make it difficult to provide internet

service. SpaceX project is not the only one in seeking global communications through advanced

internet service, Facebook company used big drones working on solar cells to provide remote areas

around the world with internet service. ATNT Communication Company with the corporation with the

governments around the world whishes to provide wireless internet via Wi-Fi technology through the

current power lines. New York City and Canada also plans many initiatives aiming to provide this

service on a wide range for all citizens. SpaceX company try to make sure on an active contribution to

solve this problem, Cooper said, ( SpaceX company is looking forward enthusiastically to be part of

the solution by expanding the provided arias with high speed internet services with a reasonable cost

in and out of the US.

larger number of people around the world. Getting the approval from the US government to

implement this plan is a matter of time.

Microsoft Fixes a Security Breach in Windows Discovered by Google

Microsoft have send a security update to Windows users and specifically in the anti-virus program

Windows Defender will fix a security breach regarding implementing orders remotely. Tavis Ormandy

and Natalie Silvanovich a researchers working within google security project (Project Zero) have

announced last week the security breach, through it you can control the device of the user through an e-

mail only without the need to open and read it. The researchers have informed Microsoft about the

breach when they discovered it and they promised to provide more technical details regarding the

matter after sending the security update that can fix it. According to the breach it can target the security

engine from the malevolent programing in Windows Defender program and disable it which can enable

the pirates to execute malevolent programing codes and taking full control of the whole operating

system.

Lenovo Announced the New Transforming Chromebook Computer Flex 11

Lenovo the Chines company for computers lunched its first device for the year 2017 from Chromebook

computers operates with Chrome OS and it’s called Lenovo Flex 11, designing this computer like many

other Chromebook devices to be affordable around 280$.

The company previously lunched many computers type Chromebook

which have an outstanding options, and it continued on the same level

with the new computer which can provide the users within this price

tag a laptop with quad core processed, ARM 2.1 giga hertz of

frequency with 4 gigabyte of RAM and 32 giga of internal storage.

the laptop have 11.6 inch screen at resolution 1366*768 pixel touch screen in order to enable the user

from using android apps, and also you can flip the screen to the opposite side like many of Lenovo

portable devices which can be transformed into something like a tab device, this thing can provide the

users to take a full advantage from android apps. The Chinese company refer to the device Flex 11 that

have been designed to take android apps into consideration. This computer have stander set of features

like C-USB port on both sides and two ports of standard USB, HDMI and external SD card port. Its light

weight computer less than three pound but it can give the users some extra features because of this extra

weight, these features includes falling resistance from 75 cm height or 2.4 foot beside a water proof

keyboard can take a cup of water or 220 mil with special under grooves to drain the water and keep it
