Hello Adam Families!
Thank you for coming out to visit us for our recent
Open House and Watch Dog Dad events! If you
were unable to attend and would still like
information, please feel free to contact us at 281-
897-4485. Although we have postponed our
annual Family Fun Night to the Spring semester,
we have fun events planned for our students
during the school day this month. We will
celebrate College Week next week and we also
have Red Ribbon Week planned for this month as
well. We look forward to sharing all the
possibilities our students have as they look toward
their future.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any
questions you may have. Thank you for your
continued partnership so that we may reach our
Eagles’ goals!

NOTICE TO PARENTS
As a parent of a student at a campus receiving Title I funds, federal law allows you to ask for information about the
certification, college major, and advanced degrees of your child’s teacher(s). You also have the right to request
information about the qualifications of a teacher aide or paraprofessional providing direct services to your child. If you
would like to receive this information, you may contact the Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. Human Resources Department at
281-897-4099.
CHANGES IN TRANSPORTATION
End of Day Transportation Procedures
As always, our top priority is the safety and security of our students and staff. Please help us keep your children
safe by adhering to our end of day procedures. These procedures are designed to safely and efficiently get your
children home each day. One primary means of transportation should be chosen for the year. Changes of
transportation should be kept to a minimum and must be in writing. Requirements are established to help
guarantee the safety of every student. A change in transportation must be arranged prior to 2:30 pm to allow
adequate time for our staff to communicate the change to the appropriate persons. When there is a change from
the usual means of transportation, parents must notify the school in writing. All communication should be
directed to the homeroom teacher. Written permission for a change in transportation may be faxed, if necessary.
Our fax number is 281-517-2089. Phone calls to change transportation are not permitted.
Car Rider and Walkers
We would like to remind our families that do not ride the bus about our walking guidelines.
We ask that parents not park in front of the homes around the school and walk their students
in. If you drive to the school area, please move through our car rider line. We have begun
receiving complaints from the community regarding cars parked in front of our neighbor’s
homes. We want to ensure we maintain the support of our community, keep students safe,
and avoid phone calls to the Cypress Fairbanks Police Department for concerns such as these.
Thank you for your teamwork!
Gifted and Talented Screening referrals are now being accepted. Email
[email protected] for the parent referral form. The referral forms are due
November 30, 2021 for the mid-year testing cycle.
