A passion for research from bedsideThe time of 13 years has
passed since the 11th World Congress of the International Society
for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy (ISSHP) was taken place
in Kobe, Japan. During this period of time, ISSHP has developed to
a level where clinical study is now done worldwide. We, Japan
Society for the Study of HYPERTENSION IN PREGNANCY, would like to
extend our sincere invitation to ISSHP to Nara, the city of oldest
history in Japan, in order to share the latest outcome.We are very
much looking forward to seeing you in Nara.

International accessibilityThe nearest international airport is
Kansai International Airport which frequently provides
accessibility to many major cities such as Beijing, Seoul, Delhi,
Singapore, Dubai and New York only to name a few. In order to
facilitate the international visitors, Nara has a few
accommodations which provide multi-lingual service.

Seasonal SpecialtiesNara has rich culture which is expressed
through seasonal events and residents of Nara enjoy the seasonal
delicacies. Mass for Bamboos & Incantation against Cancer, an
annual Buddhism event, is taken place in June to appreciate bamboos
which are closely related to the residents' living. In the event,
people are invited to drink Bamboo-Leave Sake which is believed to
have effect against cancer.
Historical destinationNara is known to have the oldest history
and a number of world-class heritages in Japan. For instance,
Todai-ji Temple, which is known for its world's largest wooden
structure with a 15-meter-tall Buddha statue, and Kofuku-ji Temple,
a five-storied pagoda of Nara park which is also a comfortable
habitat for Nara deer. The heritages are so well-preserved that
could lead you to picturize the ancient times in Japan.
ProximityNara has an excellent proximity to many destinations
due to its geographical location and convenience of public
transportation. It takes only 90 minutes bus ride to reach Kansai
International Airport, 40 minutes to Osaka where the Universal
Studio Japan is located, 30 minutes to Kyoto which is another
highly popular city that tells Japanese history, as well as many
other local destinations.
