Secure External interface with Controlled Information Access
The ISS Core WIMAX LT contains a gateway, which acts as an external interface for
providing geographic location information of the WiMAX device such as longitude
and latitude. In addition, this gateway provides secure and controlled access from
external systems, protecting the information against un-authenticated or
un-authorized access.
Flexibility
The ISS Core WIMAX LT primarily uses pattern matching at present for providing
device location. With the increasing number of devices with GPS or A-GPS installed
being used, WIMAX LT can also be extended to make use of the installed GPS or
A-GPS system for providing more accurate device location information in parallel
with pattern matching (i.e. hybrid).

ISS Core SieveISS Core SieveIntelligent Scene Detection for Keyframe Extraction and Metadata Generation
The ISS Core Sieve provides storyboard creation of keyframes out of low-resolution proxies
through batch or auto-intelligent scene-change-detection core-algorithm and metadata /
metatext extraction from video and external metadata sources. It improves production
e�ciency dramatically when it automatically creates keyframes and metadata running in
batch mode. Especially for long-form videos where editors could spend hours generating
keyframes and sub-clips manually, ISS Core Sieve can operate at least 2x to 6x realtime to
generate accurate keyframes automatically based on detection sensitivity.
There are four modes of keyframe / metadata generations in the ISS Core Sieve Analyzer;
they may be be selected according to your content type:
Adjustable scene detection sensitivity e.g. news
Time Interval (suitable for longfrom, soap opera, etc)
Manual
Timecode (EDL import)
After the keyframes are created automatically or in manual mode, users can create metadata
for each “timecoded” keyframe, browse low-res proxy, create advanced metadata such as
program title or tape ID, or import external metadata such as legacy metadata, subtitles etc..
The ISS Core Sieve inputs and outputs open �le formats such as WMV, MOV, and XML, so that
it can be integrated easily with other 3rd party systems.
Like all ISS Core products, the ISS Core Sieve is a pure software program running on top of
standard Windows® XP-based workstation-level hardware. While ISS Core can deliver the
whole system, customers always have the �exibility to purchase their preferred hardware.
The installation process is as easy as following a simple installation guide provided by ISS
Core and in a few hours your engineers can have the system up and running.

Key FeaturesManual and Automatic Keyframe Extraction
Extracted Keyframe Preview and EditingDuring or after keyframe generation, users can browse
through the keyframes using either list or thumbnail
mode; they can also insert new or delete unwanted
keyframes. Keyframe list view allows users to tag each
individual keyframe with metadata, whereas thumbnail
view facilitates rapid keyframe editing.
EDL Export
Easy Integration with MAMOutput videos, keyframes, and metadata �le in open
formats can be automatically transferred to one watch
folder to allow any MAM systems to perform archiving
and advanced cataloging.
ISS Core Sieve provides a friendly user interface that
displays the video clip preview, keyframes, and meta-
data in one uni�ed window to facilitate keyframe
generation. Users can manually extract keyframes and
insert metadata while previewing the video or allow the
program to generate the keyframes automatically based
on intelligent scene detectior or con�gurable time inter-
val.
The ISS Core Sieve can export an EDL containing the timecode in / out points and user inputted metadata information for each generated keyframe to facilitate exchange with other applications.
