Israel Zionism: movement establishing and developing

Jewish state: a worldwide movement, originating in the 19th century, Which sought to establish and develop a Jewish nation in Palestine. Since 1948 its function has been to support the state of Israel. 

Persecution:  the subjecting of a race or group of people to cruel or unfair treatment, example: because of their ethnic origin or religious beliefs 

Israel: Modern state of Israel was established in 1948 it was established as a place for the Jews to go after WW2. At the end of the British mandate on Palestine which gave Israel its legitimacy, Israel was declared an independent state in May 15th, 1948.

Israel Israel’s relations with U.S.: Israel is considered a major ally of the

United States in the region, receiving American aid since its creation in 1948. Early American support for Israel was sparked by the need for a Jewish state in the aftermath of WW2and the Holocaust. Today, the country receives around 5$3 billion per year in economic and military support from the United States.  

Israeli Palestine relations: they obviously hate each other and Israeli’s have mistreated the Palestine’s well they fight all the time and with the new murdering in the Gaza Strip you can tell they mistreat them. 

Peace settlement: some things that are in the way of settling a peace agreement are they don’t want to get kicked out or lose some of their land.
