ISR 4451-X Board Layout
DRAM Upgradeability
• The 4451-X has two banks of memory for Control Plane and Data Plane
1 DIMM for the DP is not upgradeable today – Labeled FFP on motherboard.
2 DIMMS for the Control/Services Plane must be upgraded for some services.
• Remember that Compact Flash should always be twice the size of CP DRAM for
handling log files and core dumps.
