Communion Offering to Timon’s Ministries To Be Matched Timon’s Ministries is one of the mission pro-jects Island in the Son UMC supports regularly. Our November 5 Communion Offering will go to help Timon’s, and our contr ibutions will be matched by South Texas foundations on the 2017 Coastal Bend Day of Giving November 14. “A Hand Up, NOT a Hand Out” is the motto of Timon’s, which opened in 2000 in the Flour Bluff Community. Clients are working and nonworking poor; few are actually homeless. Timon’s serves 80-100 hot meals Monday-Friday, and its Crisis Pantry distributes 2-3 tons

The World of Believe
I now live in the World of Believe, where I have forgiven every wrong done to me. And I too am forgiven for any wrong that I have ever done to anyone. I live in the World of Believe where, everyone believes and lives in agape love. I live in the World of Believe where, only kind words are said. I live in the World of Believe where, only compassionate, loving thoughts are entertained. I live in the World of Believe where, gentleness and generosity are abundant. I live in the World of Believe where, peace abounds. I live in the World of Believe where, mercy is boundless. I live in the World of Believe where, hope is eternal. I live in the World of Believe where, joy is everlasting. I live in The World of Believe. I live in the World of Believe where, nothing can be taken from me because everything is God’s. I live in the World of Believe where, I am protected. I live in the World of Believe where, truth is always lived. I live in the World of Believe where, God rules eternally. I live in the World of Believe where, patience grows love. I live in the World of Believe where, meekness cultivates peace. I live in the World of Believe where, LOVE is life. I live in The World of Believe. I live in the World of Believe where, there is no age. I live in the World of Believe where, there is no gender. I live in the World of Believe where, there is no time. I live in the World of Believe where, there are no limits. I live in the World of Believe where, God judges justly. I live in the World of Believe where, God helps my unbelief. I live in the World of Believe where, spiritual growth is constant. I live in the World of Believe where, everything is perfect in God. I live in the World of Believe where, every life is prosperous in the Lord. I live in the World of Believe where, gratitude reveals abundance. I live in the World of Believe where, real freedom is true, Godly LOVE. I live in the World of Believe where, God lives within me and me within Him. I live in The World of Believe.

sunday “SLIDE TECH”
The Praise Team needs volunteers to help run slides on SUNDAY MORNINGS. If you are willing to come to church a bit early one Sunday of the month, please contact Cindy Frank or Karl Harvey. It’s not a difficult job (just pay attention and push some buttons on the computer), but it’s a very necessary one. Thank you!
