Facilitation Under the IRDA Act 2007 (Act 664), the major role of IRDA is to serve as a regional planning authority for its designated area and to undertake investment promotion and facilitation in accelerating orderly and balanced development in its area.
Act 664
IRDA was established through an Act of Parliament to deliver Iskandar Malaysia vision.
In creating inclusive society, engagements conducted at every planning stage; surveys, focus group discussions (FGD), City Forums and Open Days were held to gauge views and gain feedback from communities.
