I joined the project as a design engineer HVAC & Plumbing in the engineering stage of the project and now handling site execution for HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting, LPG and; testing and commissioning, and in the process I had the following job responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews all preliminary reports including advance planning studies for the project.

Co-ordinates structural details and design features within the project. Conducts meetings with designers and detailers as required. Coordinated work with clients and client‐related departments.

Maintains continual communications with all personnel assigned to the project.

Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction supervision to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors and conduct negotiations

Analyse blueprints, construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.

Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.

Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

Floating enquiries and obtain back‐up quotations from suppliers for material finalization.

Obtaining approvals of drawings/material submittals from concerned authority / Consultant.

Raising RFIs (Request for Information) in coordination with drafting to get information to proceed for the further works.

Raising Purchase Requisitions as per specification / drawings. Arrangement of material for use on site for smooth continuation of work. Attend regular coordination / progress meetings. Ensure healthy working condition between supervisors / foremen and

workers. Coordinating various trades like LPG, firefighting, water supply, drainage,

ducting and chilled water on site and ensuring smooth flow of the activities and no service jeopardise or obstruct another service.

Prepare and submit the Engineering calculations for HVAC, Plumbing , firefighting and LPG approvals from Client, Consultants and Authorities:

Arrange/Schedule inspection of works by the Consultant at site upon raising of RFI. Maintaining proper records of testing & commissioning of individual systems for onward submission.

Preparation & submission of monthly subcontract certificates. Ensure compliance to handing over snags. Preparation & submission of O&M manuals. To hand over the marked up drawings as per site conditions to the

drawing department. Submission of As Built drawings. Check and issue the area clearance for the various concern as per the

requirement Heat Load Calculation, Designing of Duct, and Air terminals & Dampers,

and accordingly pipe sizing and pump capacities and head. Calculation of cold water demand, Hot water demand and accordingly

calculate tank capacity, Pump Capacity and head, pipe sizing and appropriate slopes.

Site execution for HVAC ( duct and chilled water ), Plumbing ( water supply and drainage ) , Fire Fighting and LPG. ( there were separate specialist subcontractors firefighting and LPG but they had to report to me ).

Preparing Bill of Quantities for Job in Hand Projects. Give value engineering Options for minimizing cost. Testing and commissioning for HVAC systems. Preparation of O and M manuals. Arranging trainings for various equipment by suppliers to the Hotel

operators. Preparing of handing over documents for HAVC services.

Job responsibility: Production of seamless pipes from uncut cylindrical billets.

Robosapiens Delhi, India. Job responsibility: Design, development and programming for PLC boards with AT-Mega series controllers ( 8 bit, 16 bit and 32 bit ) for various industrial and home automation needs . Job Duration : 3 months

Degree of B.Tech in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING from National Institute of Technology Srinagar (2010‐2014), with CGPA 7.987 =79.87%
