that the scheme could be extended to cover other neighbouring schools. He said that the most important of the future projects of the Foundation was the setting up of a completely separate unit that would send up candidates for the IGCSE / O level and A level examinations of Edexcel (London), and CIE (University of Cambridge).

Classes were expected to commence from April 2014. He also announced that Dr Anuradha Das, formerly Director, Calcutta International School, has joined the Foundation as its Chief Academic Adviser and will be in charge of the project as the Director of the new unit.

The Principal, Ms B. Ghoshal, then addressed the audience. She congratu-lated the prize-winners and thanked guardians for their unstinted support and ready cooperation. She gratefully acknowledged the effort put in by all members of the School staff which has enabled the School to make such progress. She also informed the audience that the School has recently received the ISA Accreditation from the British Council.

The Principal’s speech was followed by a play, based on Percival Wilde’s Refund. This hilarious play, directed by Ms Kavita Guha with the assistance of Ms T. Dasgupta and Ms R.
