APPROACHAPPROACH

• Too many green organizations/labels

• My Proposal– Adopt the process from ISO14000 to

understand our aspects/impacts.– Study our impacts and take steps to reduce

our impacts– Implementation of Reduction, Reuse and

Recycling– Ready for LEEDS certification.

Activities/Aspect/Environmental Impacts

Activities/Aspect/Environmental Impacts

• ISO 14000 Approach

• Document that is “renewed” regularly to take into account changes in laws, processes

• Focus on Activities - both direct and indirect– Direct what we do on site– Indirect what our suppliers/receivers do

Activities/Aspect/Environmental Impacts

Activities/Aspect/Environmental Impacts

• Aspects – Element of on organization's activities, products or

services which can interact with the environment.– These interactions result in environmental pollution

and/or depletion of non renewable resources

• Environmental Impacts – Any change to the environment, whether adverse
