India Spell Bee –New Mumbai Chapter

India Spell Bee is a pioneer in conducting spelling competitions among students across majorcities in India. Spelling competition creates an awareness of the necessity to spell andpronounce words correctly; it also develops enthusiasm among students to learn new words.

EligibilityThis competition is designed for students from Class 1 to Class – 10-from ICSE / CBSE / STATEBOARD. Students can compete as per the class they study in.

Competition is open to all students who are enrolled in school From Class 1 to Class 10.of ICSE /CBSE/STATE BOARDS. Any registration received from a student separate from the

school registration will also Be Accepted.

Registration fee Rs 300/- for each participantDue to scheduling and judging Constraints, late registration entries will not be acceptedPlease contact the school/organizers for further information.

What is the Spell Mate ?

Spell Mate is a carefully researched and compiled book containing approx 1000 spell words.

Competition Format :The competition is held in 3 stages

Preliminary Round :Dictation 20 wordsCircle the correct word 20 wordsOral Round 5 words

Pre Finals : The qualifiers of Preliminary Round will appear forDictationWord Usage

Finals : Oral round of Spelling

Note : All Preliminary Rounds will be held on Sundays Only
