Chapter 1My Early Years

When I was a child, I had a lot of fear. I dont remember much in my earlylife in my country that made me happy. I was born in Colombia in the Cityof Santa Marta. I lived with my family of many brothers and sisters. WhenI was a child, I didnt understand a lot of things in my life, about my family.

I lived in my country for forty-two years. I love my country because thepeople are very friendly and helpful. My Mothers name was Aurora Garciaand my Fathers name is Hector Campo. My parents were very strict.They always were severe with all of us. They always reprimanded us andpunished us severely. This was very sad and terrible for me.

My favorite parent is my Father. I have eight siblings. Their names are:

(sisters) Grace and Aurora; and (brothers) Hector, Fernando, Javier,Horacio, Gustavo and Jose. My favorite sibling now is my sister Grace but Ihave special relationship and communication with all of my siblings.

I dont remember my relationship with my Grandparents. I suppose thatthey died before I was born. My aunts, uncles and cousins visited ussometimes.

I remember that I began to study at age seven. I liked my school and Iremember my teacher, she was very nice and her name was Herlinda. Ididnt play any sports in school. I had a special friend in school namedwas Yolanda. She was very friendly, nice and funny. My second teacher inschool was very special to me. She was my favorite teacher. I was insecond grade. Her name was Mariela. She was very correct with me andvery affectionate. I didnt learn to play any musical instrument.

Chapter 2My Life Now

My life for me has been changing lately. Before, I was married in mycountry Colombia. Now Im married for 2nd time. Now I feel me very welland relaxed, we met in Miami FL. 10 years ago, now we have been married8 years. I have 2 children of my previous marriage; one daughter and one

son. They are married and have 2 grandsons. Their names are David andJorge. I dont have a pet right now, but maybe in the future. I came to thiscountry 11 years ago. I moved to the State of Florida (Miami) and then toCalifornia (S.D.). I came alone to this country. When I arrived in thiscountry, I was very nervous, but only for short time, because in Miamithere are a lot of Cuban people so it was not necessary to speak English.The strangest thing in this country was the old people working, I like this.

I am very happy in this country. The only thing that I miss most about of

my country is the food, and people (family). Im studying English. Im

doing stained glass. At this moment I dont work, I prefer to study Englishand work after. My job is to study English. My hobby is dancing. I playedracquetball in my country. I like to walk in the park alone or with myhusband if I can.

Chapter 3My Future Hopes and Dreams

The future hopes and dreams for my life is hopefully, full of creativity,youthfulness, and usefulness.

My goal for my life after of to learn English very well, is to get my license,

of interior design in Palomar College, but I need to wait. After I hope thatmy health will be better, for to begin to work. Fifteen years in the future, Iwill be 70 years old. In the future, I would like to work in interior design, Iprefer to be living in United States, I like the states of CA, and FL, My idealdream for my future life will be to travel to different countries ; Egypt ,Greece , and Italy. After when I finished of visiting the countries, I will liketo live in a quiet city. I will like to live in a big house, because my dream is

to get a beautiful garden. I hope in the future, that my children give me
