MGEcan help you determine UPS requirements such as backup time required, types of batteries and operating layouts as well as assist with the sizing of cablesand upstream and downstream protection devices.

System Start-UpOur experts are on hand to make sure that your installation and power requirements correspond to the chosen level of protection. MGE can perform pre-installation visits to optimize start-up of your UPS system, assist in drafting procedures specific to your site and of course start-up your equipment whichshould be performed by trained technicians with a detailed knowledge of the products.

Battery Maintenance and ReplacementBattery service is a vital component of any UPS maintenance program since even one battery that has failed can wreak havoc on an entire system. In orderto maintain 100% uptime and to protect your investment, regular quarterly or semi-annual battery system inspections are strongly recommended dependingon your installation and the environment in which the batteries operate. Also, since batteries have a limited life, MGE will also assist you with the monitoringof your batteries to help you make the critical decision of when it is time to replace your batteries. When it proves necessary to replace one or several ofthe batteries (malfunction or end-of- life), MGE will provide you with new batteries to help you conform to the specification of your UPS system to guaranteeyou that your system is appropriately backed-up.

This card controls six output relays depending on theoperating status of the UPS and receives signals on thetwo SELV inputs.

The two ports are being used to supply UPS status informa-tion or all Remote Power Off (RPO) or the UPS.
