Museum Siam The museum emphasizes on interactive experience
by allowing the audience to take part in the exhibit. The building is in pastel yellow packed with edutainment through its permanent
exhibition “Essay of Thailand” composing the history of Thailand. There is also a monthly temporary exhibition. And each theme addresses controversial topics like gender equality, education, and Asean culture. With the interactive presentation, you will get edutained and enjoy exploring the exhibition.
National Museum BangkokThis first museum of Thailand was established in King Rama V’s reign. Originally, it was situated at Sahathai Samakom Pavilion inside the Grand Palace before it was moved to the current location next to Silpakorn and Thammasart University in 1987. There is an exhibition about Thai history from pre-historic period, historic period including Tawarawadee period, Sriwichai period, Lopburi period to Rattanakosin period. The atmosphere is rigid and strict, more suitable for those who are deeply interested in Thai history. SiamHOP can assure you that every historical item exhibited here is very rare and valuable.
Golden MountIt is the only temple in Bangkok which is situated on a mount. On top is Barombanpot or a golden chedi on a man-made mountain at the highest spot of the temple. Thai people, therefore, often call this place Wat Phu Khao Thong (Golden Mount). But the official name of this temple is Wat Saket. This temple has been here since the beginning of Rattanakosin. Every November, the temple holds the most bustling temple fair. Buddhists and tourists can pay respect to Buddha’s relic brought from Kapilavastu during King Rama V’s reign. The opening time is 7 AM – 12 AM. The temple fair is usually held during the Loy Krathong Day period. An original temple fair in a big city is such a rare sight now. Come and climb up Golden Mount for a panoramic view of Bangkok!
Khao Sarn RoadThe current picture of cluttering pub and bars lined along this short road would be hard for you to imagine the origin of its name. This road was once the largest rice trade center in the city in the reign of King Rama VI. Time flies and hippie movement emerged. More and more tourists came and stayed on this road due to its convenient location for visiting Rattanakosin island. Guest-
houses mushroom to accommodate flocking backpackers. More and more shops,
restaurants, pubs and bars are opened up. Khao Sarn Road is sure to be one of the first words that backpackers know when they ride a taxi to their first destination
in Thailand.
Chatuchak marketThe reason that makes Chatuchak market the legend is not because it has been open for more than 40 years, but it is the market that has been specially planned out for shopping and you will not be able to walk around within one whole day. This is because Chatuchak Market has the most projects of storefronts, 27 projects altogether, totaling of over 8,000 storefronts. They also have different types and quality of categories of products available, such as clothes, pets, plants, vegetable and fruits, cooked food, instant food, fresh food and miscellaneous products. This place has all that you wanted to shop. It is the reason why many people would spend their weekends walking around Chatuchak Market so they will get new ideas and be inspired.
Cafe de NorasinghaCafé de Norasingha is not only a part of Phaya Thai Palace, but also is the only coffee shop that perfectly remains that atmosphere of ancient palace and looking very elegant. It is also filled with history since they first open in the reign of King Rama 6 until nowadays. They have relocated from Sanarmsuepa to Phaya Thai Palace to serve you the original delightful and delicious beverages for all to try.
Nang Loeng MarketThe market of Thai savory snack and sweets is hidden in the beautiful old-style structure. It has been a lively community since King Rama V’s reign. This is the first inland market of more than a hundred years old.
It is well-known for its street food such as egg noodle with crab and grilled red pork. With such a small area, it is very easy and convenient to immerse yourself into this
food destination and nibble the best of the city’s local food.
Queen Sirikit Museum of TextilesThis museum is originated from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit who has a passion in Thai textiles and would like to have a museum to showcase and preserve them. Since 2003, the renovation of colonial building around Phra Borom Maha Ratachwang district has begun in order to set up this textiles museum. There is an exhibition like Fit For a Queen: Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Creations by Balmain to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday in 2016. Its highlight is Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s clothes designed by Pier Balmain, the French designer who had been the main designer for 22 years.
Assumption ChurchIts Renaissance style cathedral is one of the oldest and the most beautiful in Thailand built a century ago, designed by French architect. Marbles and color glass were finely selected and shipped from France, Singapore and Italy. Cathedral’s ceiling and walls are decorated with beautiful Fresco. Unfortunately, the church was destroyed by bomb during World War II but later renovated by Christians in Thailand for more than 6 years. The church is open for public visit.
Ghost Gate GoodiesAll the Thai food-lovers must have heard about the Ghost Gate. Once the sun sets, this quarter becomes awake and crowded with Thai and foreign foodies queueing for the must-try dish like Thip Samai Pad Thai or Pad Thai Pratu Phee. And it is not wrong
if you love another Pad Thai shop next door too. Whichever tastes right for you is the best! And
the one and only street food with one Miche-lin star award cannot be anyone else but Jay Fai. You will love the omelet with giant chunks of crab meat. If you plan to try the food here, come before 5 PM. As the later, the longer queue. You may have to stand
for hours. Do not say we did not warn you!

YaowaratKnown as Thailand’s Chinatown, Yaowarat is the
largest residence of Chinese community. Lavished with Chinese architecture, it is a large retail and wholesale trade center of consumer products from China as well as general merchandise. Gold shops are lined side by side, showing off
their vivid colorful shop signs. What a sight! However, the ex-travaganza of Yaowarat lies in its scrumptious food on both sides of the street. From bustling food stalls to top-notch restaurants, only well-selected ingredients are used to cook. Yaowarat is naturally crowded with people hungry for tasty street food and this neighborhood becomes even more vibrant during Chinese New Year and Vegetarian Festival.

ENTERTAINMENT ROUTEHaving travelled through Ratchadapisek Road by Siam Hop Pass, you will be amazed at what can be experienced in Bangkok’s nightlife. Wat BenchamabophitIt is said to be the best well-planned temple decorated with the best marble slab from Carrara and Genoa, Italy. Hence, the name Marble Temple. It was commissioned by King Rama V. The main Buddha image is a copy of Phra Buddha Chinarat from Phrasrirattana Mahathat Temple, Phitsanulok Province (known as Muang Song Kaew or city of 2 rivers).
Giant SwingGiant Swing was built in King Rama I’s reign before being moved to the city
courtyard during King Rama V’s and remains there until today.
This towering red swing was built for Giant Swing ceremony, a Brahman New Year celebration known as Triyamphawai during December - January. According to Brahman belief, Vishnu would descend from heaven to earth for 10 days. Eventually, during Rama VII’s reign, the ceremony was cancelled but the Giant Swing still stands tall.
