Unsure as to when it actually started.
The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans preformed abortions.
England and the Roman Catholic Church were some of the first to make abortion illegal.
The United States followed shortly after England and the Roman Catholics in abortion laws.
In most states in the U.S. it has mean made legal to receive an abortion.
