EXHIBITION Sophienholm's summer exhibition about the Danish designer and silvers-mith Kay Bojesen (1886-1958) is sure to pull the crowds. Many people in Denmark and world-wide have grown up with his monkey, guardsman, zebra and other iconic wooden fi gu-res, which are currently enjoy-ing a tremendous renaissance.

Though a qualifi ed silvers-mith with exclusive hollow-ware, jewellery and cutlery to

his credit, the true passion and soul he poured into his wood carvings were the hallmark of his utterly unique, simple and expressive designs.

Visit the exhibition at Sophienholm, Nybrovej 401, Kgs. Lyngby from Saturday 28 June until Sunday 21 Septem-ber, both dates inclusive.

Opening hours: Tuesday - Sunday 11.00-17.00. Thursdays 11.00-19.00.

"Hans indsats vil blive husket"

Kommunes Frivillighedspris. Hans evne til at føre ideerne

ud i livet har sat ham i stand til at glæde mange, mange men-nesker gennem denne lange

årrække.Hans indsats er kendt af

mange og vil blive husket længe.".
