Concept :

The Urban Park design is based on a sustainable approach where both the

municipality and the citizens will benefit.

1- Low cost

2- keeping most of the existing orange groves and growing Date trees,

Pinus pinea, Ceratonia siliqua, Laurus nobilis and Pomegranate. The

municipality will sell its products and help maintain and keep the security of

the park.

3- A lake to collect the rain water which would be useful for the park

irrigation. Create water features which help toning the stress of the people

and provide playful water areas too:)==> better quality of life.

4- A plant nursery where the municipality grows and stores needed plants

for future installation in the city and the responsible staff will also take care in

the up keep of the park.

5- Event areas: the municipality will rent the place against a nominal

sum...these collected money will also help in the upkeep of the place.

6- Possibility of constructing a large underground parking under the Sport

areas...

7- Supplying the park with Green Energy provided by turbine trees.These

trees would be planted in the large road islands and visitors' parkings.

8- Use the raw existing materials of the site such as pebbles, stones and

reeds in the new park features such as rock water fall and pebbly ponds.
