Paul is Group M&A Director at R&Q responsible for all legacy acquisition activity. His 20 years plus in the market include 10 years as IRLA Chairman and Board Director.

Welcome to the IRLA Congress & Business Seminar 2018
The IRLA Board, events committee and team at AMS(Outsourcing) Services have again put a lot of effort into pulling the conference together for which I must thank them all. I am also very grateful to our sponsors this year whose support enables us to keep this such an attractively priced event. This year’s sponsors are BC Legal, Cooley (UK) LLP, Premia Europe, Pro Global, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, RiverStone and Swiss Re.
We have a great three days planned for you with quality speakers but plenty of time for networking, meetings and some social options too. Please take the opportunity to mix and mingle at our many events.
The early completion of full registrations for this year’s Congress is reflective of the growing interest in IRLA as a whole. This is our flagship annual event and the premier legacy event in Europe. We are especially delighted to see an increasing number of overseas
This year’s Congress has been expanded to allow in more delegates and activities; even so take-up has been better and faster than last year. We are once again coming to Brighton with another extensive and relevant programme. 2018’s programme has a wide range of speakers, panel debate sessions and subjects that will inform, educate and perhaps give you food for thought.

Dress CodeThe dress code throughout the event is business casual.
RegistrationYou can register from 11:30 on Monday 14 May 2018. Please wear your badge;it allows you access to all the rooms and gives relevant information to the event and venue staff.
If you are meeting someone who is not registered for the event, please do so outside of the hotel.
Accommodation at The GrandIf you have an enquiry regarding your room booking, please speak to one of the AMS (Outsourcing) Services support team in the first instance. House-keeping issues should be reported directly to the hotel staff.
Check in time at The GrandGuaranteed check in time is 15:00. Check out time is 11:00. If you arrive before 15:00 or plan to leave after 11:00, the concierge can collect your luggage and store it in the locked conference room until you are ready to leave.
We recommend that you check out following your breakfast to avoid missing seminar sessions.
Event BarThe bar accepts both cash and credit cards or you may charge drinks to yourroom (you should settle your extras at checkout).
Wi-FiA Wi-Fi code is not required to connect at the venue; just select The Grand’s network in your Wi-Fi settings and enter your email address when prompted. Please use 3 and 4G rather than wi-fi for the interactive sessions at the seminars. IRLA App and Delegate InteractionPlease download the IRLA App from your Smart/iPhone App store for all the latest Congress news and information (search for IRLA and look for the logo). You will be able to use the App to take part in the live polls, post comments and submit questions to speakers throughout the event.
Following the event, you can use the App to keep up to date with IRLA news and events.
