1. Health Executive of Health & Wellbeing to establish the national frameworkfor exercise referral / physical activity referral pathways

2. Swim Ireland to increase national participation in swimming in Ireland

3. Europe Active and EU directives on areas such as pending legislation thatmay have negative effects on our industry & seeking European position to get more people more active more

4. National Standard Authority Ireland (NSAI) – Advising on the Irish standards for fitness centres that will support the future publications of European CEN Fitness standards.

National White Flag Quality StandardTo ensure standards are maintained, the White Flag Quality Standard grades facilities operations, and is based onthe three essential areas when operating any leisure centre or spa: Safety; Hygiene & Maintenance and CustomerCare. The award is designed to encourage continuous improvement, and approximately one hundred facilities aroundthe country have attained this prestigious accolade.

We believe all our customers should be aware of the professional requirements of the leisure centres they attendand are entitled to quality facilities and services in a safe and hygienic environment.
