Driving Europe’s Digital Transformation eitdigital.eu @EIT_Digital IPPP IPPP solution targets the needs of industries characterised by production lines with a high level of hand work and a large use of paper documentation in the manufacturing process. It is a web application that allows line operators to easily access the manufacturing process documentation for each specific piece, to fill the testing results of manufactured goods, to rise alarms when a stop of the manufacturing process occurs. It generates new data and knowledge regarding the production status on the factory floor, reducing the decision time of the stakeholders involved in the production process management. IPPP (Industrial Paperless Production Process) activity developed a solution to digitise the production process in order to reduce the usage of paper in industrial plants, monitor the production process and increase overall efficiency. IPPP solution targets the needs of industries characterised by production lines with a high level of hand work and a large use of paper documentation in the manufacturing process.

It is a web application that allows line operators to easily access the manufacturing process documentation for each specific piece, to fill the testing results of manufactured

goods, to rise alarms when a stop of the manufacturing process occurs.

• Ability to provide consultancy service to tailor and extend the solution to solve customer wicked problems and adapt to the customer context

• Responsive Web-interface

• Branding support

• Reduction of paper usage involved in the production line by 40%

• Reduction of time spent in making quality checks by 20%

2017• System customisation and development

of new features

• Deploy and pilot in one assembly line of Zoppas Industries Italian plant

2018• Evaluation of the solution by Zoppas

Industries and possible adoption with extension to similar manufacturing lines

• Promotion of the solution at potential new customers

• Medium and Large Industrial Companies that currently face the early stages of digitisation of their manufacturing plants and don’t find on the market a product that fits their specific needs

• The solution is available in Italy and in the next years will be available for the European and UK market

• The solution is developed by Cefriel in collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute

• The first customisation for Zoppas Industries has been deployed in October 2017 in a pilot assembly line
