<p>iPads in the Elementary Classroom</p> <p>iPads in the Elementary ClassroomBy: Carey BastianTara Peterson-BoomsAgendaiPad BasicsHow to use iPads in the classroomEducational AppsOther technologyTime to work with iPads</p> <p>iPad Buttons &amp; Functions</p> <p>Shutting Down the iPadHold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button down at the same time until a red slider bar appears</p> <p>Slide the bar to the right and it will shut down the iPad</p> <p>Conserves Battery LifeRecovery from a Freeze (reboot)Downloading AppsFind the App Store icon on the home screenAt the bottom there are options of how you can searchOnce you find the App you are looking for, click the price which will then turn into a green button that says install If the app is free, it will automatically download, if its not a price will appearIf it is not free, the app will install if you have money on your iTunes account.
