All the individual components have been specially flanged and gasketed for sealing against moisture and particles to IP65. This particular example was from the first shipment in Australia and supplied for an Agricultural application. Though it is also suitable for machining and process control applications with harsh environments. The robust nature of the prod- uct also has advantages for the transport industry, in particular, automatic trailer covers. The combination and sealing process is available on all KAG motors with suitable flange area for an O-ring groove and gas- ket combinations and are modified on request.
