Please fmd enclosed an application for "Aspire to Success". Iowa Memorial Granite Co is a branch affiliate ofthe Peter Troost Monument Co in Hillside, IL. Since joining the PTMC group we have had many avenues opened to us that we hadn't sought out before.

I am submitting four different monuments that got our firm public recognition in the past year.

1. WITTKAMP monument- Published in the Elberton Graniteer (Winter 2012). This showcased a monument where the family desired to have older classic style family monument.

2. APPRECIATION PARK - Located in West Branch, IA the project organizers used American Black granite because they felt they should use a stone fabricated in the USA for their veterans. Published in the Elberton Graniteer (Spring 2013).

3. HOOPES family monument - The Muscatine Journal article says it all. When the family came to me and requested something larger and unique, I knew their history of ownership of the "Hoopes Melon Shed". An image popped into my mind immediately and the family ran with it. This article was picked up by the Burlington Gazette, Quad City Times and the Des Moines Register, along with some other smaller news firms.

4. WW II HONOR TOUR plaque - Shortly after placing our "Bronze & Granite Commemorative & Signage Products" brochure in our local Chamber of Commerce newsletter, we received a call from one of the Honor Tour organizers. They had leftover donations that they wanted to use to commemorate the veterans and the honor tours taken. Although we chose not to "steal the spotlight" from the veteran's in the corresponding news article(s), at the unveiling, the

organizers asked the veterans to thank Iowa Memorial Granite Co for the creation of the plaque and for donating the installation of the plaque at its final resting spot.

Monument replicated from pictures by Central Granite

Central Granite Company, Inc., produced a mas­sive family monument using pictures as their , blueprint. 1he Wittkamp family contacted Iowa lvIemorial Granite Company, Inc., in Musca­tine, Iowa, with photos of another monument in the cemetery that they wanted to match. It encompassed the older, classic style they were looking for in a memorial.

1he center tablet stands 6-4 x 2-0 x 4-6, polish five with square raised letters on the front and back-It is topped with a cap, 7-0 x 3-0 x 1-6, polish five with a steeled scotia, and rests on an all polished base measuring 7-8 x 4-0 x 1-6. The memorial stands in the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa.
