The IOTA EM1 is a compact, dual-head LED emergency light with battery back-up designed for wall or ceiling mounting. In the event of a power loss, the EM1 will provide emergency illumination from two 2.5W LED lamps for 90 minutes. The EM1 features a test switch, charge indicator and adjustable lamp heads for optimal bi-directional light dispersion. The IOTA RHWL1 and RHWL2 are remote LED emergency light fixtures for use with PE-BC Series exit signs and IOTA EM1 emergency fixtures. In the event of a power loss, the RHWL1 or RHWL2 will provide emergency illumination from the 1W LED lamp head(s) for 90 minutes. The RHWL1 and RHWL2 are UL Listed for use in wet locations and suitable for installation in either interior or exterior applications. The RHWL1 and RHWL2 feature a durable thermoplastic design with adjustable lamp head(s) for optimal light dispersion.

SELF-DIAGNOSTIC CODES

PERFORMANCE TESTING

IOTA Exit Signs and Emergency Fixtures that are equipped with integral battery and/or optional self-diagnostic capability feature an unobtrusive AC indicator and test switch. The AC On indicator will remain lit during normal operation, indicating that the battery is receiving a charge and is in the standby mode.

Pressing the “Test” button on the unit will simulate a power loss situation and switch the unit to the battery supply, verifying proper operation of the internal emergency battery.

SELF-DIAGNOSTIC OPTION

Self-Diagnostics capability automatically conducts periodic testing of the equipment and battery to help prevent problems before a loss of AC power. Self-diagnostic models will conduct a 1-minute test every month, a 30-minute test every six months, and a full 90-minute test every twelve months. The self-testing functions are pre-set at the factory with no need for field adjustment.

Self-diagnostic models feature a dual color (Red/Green) led indicator that will be lit Green when ON/READY and will flash when TESTING. If a fault is encountered, the LED will flash Red. Refer to the chart to determine fault status.

Manual Testing - The self-diagnostic function can be initiated at any time for immediate data results by pressing the test switch. Pressing the test switch once will initiate a 1-minute test, while pressing the test switch four times (within 2 seconds) will initiate a 90-minute test.
