• Give feedbackOnce they start hearing how God is answering their prayers, they become more attentive and their faith grow that something might happen in their own lives as well.

• Other speakersConsider inviting other people to speak to them on prayer other than yourself and the pastor. Keep it simple and practical.

• Prayer projectsExample: Word Watch week (this is where they take turns to read the Bible out loud), a 10 days of prayer e.g. for the elections or members of parliament by name, etc.

• Teenagers testifyMany begin to understand the concept of 'God spoke to me' when they read Scripture and something touches their hearts.

INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER

• Invite a “prayer guest”If possible, invite someone that you've been praying for to your youth gathering as a “prayer guest”, e.g. the premier of your province or mayor of the city or town. This makes prayer VERY REAL for the teenagers!

• TrainingTrain at least two of your teenagers to lead a prayer meeting and how to put the meeting together. (It's not always the noisy ones that are good prayer leaders).

INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER

• Pray for your youthWrite down their names if possible, and take special effort to pray for them by name as the Holy Spirit leads you during the week. Get their cell phone numbers. This way you can send individuals a SMS as the Spirit leads you.
