Residential Renewal Design Workshop Sunday 22 July 10 am – 5pm & feedback session Monday 23 July 5 – 7pm at Pegasus Arms, upstairs in the Vespa Room (entry at rear) 14 Oxford Terrace across the Avon Ōtākaro from Antigua Boatsheds The workshop will be facilitated by Adelaide architect, Paul Downton (Ecopolis) assisted by Waitakere’s Robin Allison, both renowned for sustainable housing developments. Christchurch architects and landscape architects will also work with the local community to explore design opportunities for various areas in the Village. David Irwin of Isthmus landscape architects Auckland will assist in developing the concepts. Your input is crucial. Also, if you know specialists in development design, please encourage them to come along to help too. See Map for sample Village areas to be specifically considered, but note that designs are to be applicable on other sites as well. If you have relevant site information on the areas to be considered (e.g. significant trees; geotech data), we’re keen to hear from you on the day or email Di at [email protected] You can purchase coffee and a lunch sandwich etc downstairs.
