INVITATION TO JOIN MANAGEMENT TEACHERS CONSORTIUM

It is my pleasure to invite you as a Founder & Convener of Teachers Consortium (MTC- Global) to

join the greatest movement ever to revamp management education in India and across the world.

MTC was constituted on 29.06.2010 and in a short span of time over 1000+ professors/corporate

executives have joined this movement. As of now, MTC is an online knowledge sharing platform.

Tremendous information & knowledge exchange have been happening. It has the representatives

from 30+ countries, over 250+ business schools and 50 + companies across the globe.

It helped many professors in getting consultancy/MDP assignments, organising

seminar/conferences, access to hundreds of resource person, visiting faculty engagement,

recruitment and interaction with overseas professors.

Information about hundreds of seminars/conferences / paper presentation have been shared

by honourable members of the consortium. It has bridged the distance amongst management

professors and enriched everyone¶s life with lot of informations of academic interest.

INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION

Management Education cannot be isolated/detached from corporate as corporate plays a major role

and the main stake-holder. Based on corporate requirements management education has been

undergoing continuous changes over the years. Globalisation has given a new twist and course like

MBA (International Business), MBA (IHRM) etc are in good demand.

Most of the B-Schools have Industry- Institute- Partnership-Cell, to work closely with Corporate and

it has really helped colleges to fine tune their courses, start different certification programme,

personality development programme and various other co-curricular activities, which finally helped

colleges to place their students in good companies.

Keeping this wide perspective in mind, MTC has opened up the forum immediately after its inception

01.07.2010, for corporate executive to share their views on management education, throughput and

their expectations from students/B-schools. Surely, this will further give momentum to this

Consortium and will create synergy leading to Win-Win situation.

Hope, we can make this consortium a common platform for knowledge sharing and sooner it

is going to become a VOICE of the management fraternity.

I am sure this platform will help each member to develop knowledge capital, enhance social

capital and address various issues and emerging concepts related to management. I am sure

you will be partnering with us to create a knowledge hub through this group.
