TERMS AND CONDITION

1. Tender documents comprise of:

a. Bid Form, b. Profile of Bidder, c. Terms & Conditions

Tender documents (1a to 1c above) duly filled signed and stamped, along with Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.2,000/= in favor of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation as earnest money as per prescribed terms & conditions will be dropped at tender box placed at Conference Room, First Floor, PNSC Building in Sealed cover Envelope marked Tender Documents for Oily Garbage Removal Services onboard PNSC’S Managed, vessel M.T. Lahore at Karachi Or Port Muhammad Bin Qasim outer anchorage by 11:30 hours on 04-05-2018 2. All Tender documents submitted with out Pay order/ Bank Draft of full amount of earnest

money and/or being incomplete will be liable for rejection. 3. Bid validity would be 60 days from date of submission of Tender Documents. 4. In case of successful bidder the Earnest Money will be adjusted against Security Deposit.

Earnest money from unsuccessful bidder will be refunded (without any interest) within Fifteen (15) days of the decision for awarding of work order.

5. Eligibility Criteria:

The Bidder must have following qualifications to be eligible to participate in the bidding and provide relevant documents as mentioned in parenthesis:

i. The Bidders/Firms should be registered with taxation authorities, (N.T.N) Sindh Revenue Board (S.R.B) and Valid Sindh Professional Tax (copies of all certificates must be provided)

ii. The Bidders / Firms should be enrolled / enlisted on Active Taxpayers List (A.T.L) of F.B.R. iii. Valid License/Permits from Karachi Port or Customs for above services. iv. Experience of working in the field for minimum 2 years. (Copies of Work Certificates or

Establishment of the Organization). v. An undertaking that firms(s) or its affiliates/concerns are not black listed by any Govt./ Public

Sector Department. An entity having been black listed by PPRA / Govt. Ministries/Departments of Public Sector and FBR would be not eligible to participate.

6. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of lowest offered bid value. 7. If the Bidder selected for award of work order failed to execute the said agreement the

whole amount of earnest money shall be forfeited in favor of the Corporation.

8. The Bidders undertakes that his employees / partners / authorized dealing personals, will not indulge in any un-lawful activity while performing the work on PNSC managed vessels, in prohibited areas, for which the firm shall be responsible.

9. PNSC reserves the right to postpone the date of submission and opening of the tenders. In

case of such postponement the information would be communicated to prospective bidders who had purchased the tender documents.

10. PNSC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids strictly as per PPRA 2004 and no

claim what so ever in this reject shall be entertained, PNSC decision in this respect shall be final and binding upon all bidders.
