LIBYA BUILD, The International Building and Construction Exhibition is one of the major events of the year and the most high-end exhibition held in Libya.

Libya Build 2009 once again proves a great success being the most prominent construction show in Libya along with local and international participation of 541 companies from 30 countries worldwide.

Libya Build 2009 was officially launched by Dr. Baghadadi Mahmoudi Secretary of the Libyan General People’s Committee; Mr. Mohamed Haweij Secretary of the Libyan General People’s Committees for Industry, Economy and Trade; Mr. Abdelhafidh Zlitni Secretary for Planning and Finance; Dr. Mohamed Abu Agile: Chairman of the Housing and Infrastructure Board; Eng. Saeed Rashid Secretary of the Steering Committee of the Libyan Railway Executive Board.

In addition to Mr. Jomaa Al Ostta Secretary of the General Union of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Eng. Samir El Werfali Chairman of the Libyan Contracting Union; Mr. Abdu Al Hamid Edbayba Chairman of the Libyan Investment and Development Company (LIDCO); Dr. Jamal Lamoushi General Secretary of the Libyan General Board of Fairs and hundreds of Libyan VIPs and Businessmen.

Exhibitor’s participation increased by 50% and visitors’ number by nearly 30% made by professional personalities in the field of building and construction, where a wide range of unexpected number of visitors reached over than 15,800 who witnessed this huge implementation.

This year, participants had the opportunity to exhibit and present their products in a space area of 14,200 square meters and many companies expanded their businesses as variety of contracts have been signed during the event.

ATEX guarantees that Libya Build exhibition will contribute and accelerate the activities of the participants by providing the opportunity to interact with the Libyan Market.
