RulesForm of competitionGroup Stage: The teams are divided into groups of four or five teams where all teams will meet once. Two points will be awarded for a win, zero points for a loss. If two or more teams have the same points the winner will be decided after the following principle:

1. The results in the games between teams with the same number of points. 2. Goal difference in the games between teams with the same number of points. 3. Number of goals made in the games between teams with the same number of points.

PlayoffThe two best placed teams in each group will enter the A-Playoffs; other teams enter the B-playoffs. The playoffs will be played in a cup system; the losing team is eliminated from the tournament.

Game LenghtAll games will be played 2 x 15 min running time, except for the last 2 min of the second half, which will be played effective time. The clock will be stopped for time-outs and when a player gets there 5th foul. The clock will not be stopped when you shoot free-throws. If the game is tied at full time, you will play “sudden death” where the team that makes the first point will win. In the A-finals there will be 2 min extra time and then “sudden death”. The halftime break is 3 min. Each team is allowed to have one (1) time-out per half. The 24-sec¬ond rule is monitored by the referee. If a team on purpose delays the game a warning and then a technical foul will be awarded.

Mini Basket RulesIn the U12 and U13 categories no zone defense is allowed in the back court. A shot outside the three point line gives two points. If a player is fouled and scores no bonus free-throw is awarded.

Basketball SizesAll games will be played with official Molten indoor balls: Boys U20-U14 will be played with ball size 7 Girls U20-U14 will be played with ball size 6. Girls and Boys U13-U12 will be played with ball size 5.

GeneralReplacements can be made on every whistle. If both teams have the same colour on their uniforms, it’s the team that plays away – accord¬ing to the game schedule – who has to change uniforms. In all other matters the games will be played according to FIBA rules.
