2nd July 2009Dear shimmering Golden Councillors,Greetings from LCI Board!!On behalf of Kathleen, Kjersti, Kirsten, Linda, Else and myself, it’s with great pleasure that I invite you all for our 50th LCI Conference 2009, Fiesta@50, 26th-29th August 2009 at Bangalore, India.

As we draw a close to this Golden year of LCI, lets have a meaningful conference with discussions and deliberations to take the organization to the next higher level and Golden celebrations to last a lifetime.

We await with open arms along with the Conference 2009 team to welcome you all at Bangalore. I am sure you will walk beside us to give ourselves and all delegates a memorable conference!

Programme Wednesday, 26th August 2009 Councillor’s DinnerThe Conference starts with the Councillors dinner on Wednesday evening. This is a funfilled evening for the LCI Board and the councillors. To make it more interesting, we would like a short region wise entertainment/presentation from the countries. It can be a dance, a song,…anything that you would like to entertain your friends for 3-5 minutes. So do co-ordinate with the region that you belong to!Needless to say, we LCI Board are also planning something to entertain you all!!

• Councillors Meeting-09.00am- 01.00 pm Kindly go through the Conference pacakges send to you by our LCI Secretary in detail to prepare yourself for this important meeting. The dress code for this meeting would be our Golden Touch of Circling Scarf/stole.• Opening Ceremony & Welcome Party LCI being the melting pot of all traditions and cultures, we look forward to seeing you all in your resplendent traditional costumes to kick off our Golden Jubilee Celebrations!!

• Annual General Meeting- 09.00am-02.00pm Lets take stock of the circling year gone by with discussions and deleberations to be more progressive & elect our new LCI officers, ISP, Conference for a brand new circling year. Dress code- Golden Touch of Circling Stole/scarf.

Saturday, 29th august, 2009Gala DinnerChange is the only constant in this constantly changing world. As the curtains draw to a close to this Golden Year with our Grand Gala Dinner, we will also usher in that Change of Guard of the LCI Officers. The new team of Office will be sworn in amidst all pomp and splendour.
