As an accredited Portfolio Manager, I have met specific industry criteria and stringent CIBC

Wood Gundy qualifications thereby allowing me to offer Advisor Managed Accounts to quali-

fied clients which include some of the following benefits:

The Advisor Managed Account (AMA) is a fully managed account that I administer on behalf of CIBC Wood Gundy as the Portfolio Manager. Furthermore, I personally design portfolios for the exclusive use of my clients according to their investment goals, risk tolerance and time horizon.

As your Portfolio Manager I am responsible for the management duties on your portfolio in addition to my Investment Advisor responsibilities. This eliminates the need for calls on every trade – relieving you from day-to-day trading decisions while keeping the direct access and overall communication, key to keeping you engaged in the management of your wealth and objectives.

What We Believe

THESIS

If concentration and dedication are required to build great wealth then only limitations and

diversification can protect it! A sound portfolio requires an overall strategy and a clear process

to manage it.

INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

To hold only investments that a reasonable person would not object to owning irrespective

of the potential return. Not all businesses are good investments and not all investments are

good businesses.

To remember that any risk is too great if taken blindly! It’s about

information, knowledge and relevancy. Risk of the simplest nature

needs to be understood to reduce the possibility of a surprise.

To consider the ethics of the direct or related business, to keep

sustainability and other stewardship issues in mind at all times

and be prepared to justify those decisions.

Primarily bottom-up active management with an overview of

economic conditions to manage risk and volatility. Market

agnostic, seeking absolute returns not market

weight replication

Growth At A Reasonable Price (GARP) approach to

select investments whose current value doesn’t reflect

sustainable growth and strong absolute returns

over the longer term.

About Martin Theodore, Portfolio Manager

Martin began his financial services career with a small insurance agency in Montreal West.

Those experiences helped formed his belief that shared ethics are the basis for strong

relationships. Today he is proud to hold the Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM®)

and has met the specific industry credentials and stringent CIBC Wood Gundy qualifications

that are required to be accredited as a Portfolio Manager.

He credits his parents who were teachers to have taught him to learn, dream, laugh, and work

hard. These traits help him to a Bachelor in management, studies in economics, history and

music. Traits that are still present in his continual pursuit of professional education and always

in the passion for what he does.

Martin claims a fascination for communication, food, literature, science and how our

interactions define us. He hopes to help his three children to discover their own passions in life.

Sofia is responsible for the daily administration of clients’ portfolios. She brings a smile to the

faces of those she interacts with and a feeling of confidence that they have been well served.

Since first starting in the financial services industry in 2005, she has held a strong commitment

to providing exceptional service and is proud to respond to inquiries in a quick and detailed

manner. She believes that our clients deserve an unparalleled level of service, so that their

experience is pleasant and efficient. Sofia is fluent in three languages and when not at work

her interests include mixed media and the outdoors.
