HISTORY OF EPSON

Epson has a long history starting all the way back in May 1942, in Nagano, Japan where the corporation was established.

Epson grew over the years with many different contributions such as computers, radios, watches etc. until January 1989 Epson came out with their first projector, and things really took off for the corporation.

They continue coming out with new state of the art technology year after year “wowing” the public.

EPSON AT SLCC

Epson provides phenomenal pricing for not only early education but also for higher education such as community colleges and universities. Along with providing products, they offer product support saying “you and your staff can stay focused on what matters most.”

As for offering scholarships or financial aid for students at specific institutions there are certain institutions that have contracts and can receive scholarships, but specifically at SLCC there is not that option. But they do help the institution keep on track so that we can have a better education using up to date technology.

VOICES AT SLCC

“I’ve never really paid attention to the equipment used at school, but I guess if it saves the school money then that’s good.” –Tanner Sirstins

“I don’t really care what projectors or printers SLCC uses, but if they are saving money on it then why do we still have to pay so much money for tuition?” –Maddie Nielson

“Now that I think about it, the projectors they use have always been pretty nice quality, and it’s really nice to be able to see things as a class instead of on individual computers like it used to be.” –Nicole Rockwood
